The Originals Season 1 Episode 9 Reigning Pain in New Orleans Summary plus Preview

After Tyler shows up in the New Orleans and turns his back from Klaus . Marcel’s issues with Klaus escalated to an all-out war forcing Rebekah to finally choose a side. Unfortunately for Vampire Barbie, she apparently chose wrong, as her brother was able to decimate Marcel’s li’l army without even breaking a sweat.

Klaus chastised his siblings for turning against him. Honestly, as much as I tend to raise an eyebrow at most of Klaus’ decisions, I have to side with him on this one. He has a funny way of showing it, but I think he does love his baby. And he does want to be a united Mikaelson family; he just doesn’t know how to accomplish that.

But I’ll let Klaus explain it in his own words:

“I make no excuses for past sins, but in the one moment when you two could have chosen to stand by me, to believe in me, believe my intentions for my own child were pure, you chose to stand against me to side with my enemies. I wanted a home back, now I have it, so I’m going to live there. And the two of you can stay here together and rot.”

Meanwhile, despite the looming threats against her unborn baby, Hayley vowed to remain with Elijah at Chez Swamp, where Klaus’ bite was beginning to take effect. At the height of his feverish rage, Elijah tried to kill Hayley seriously, she has the worst luck with guys in that little shack until he was eventually staked by a newcomer named Eve.

Eve, as it turns out, is a member of Hayley’s pack and I’m pretty sure she’s the wolf who’s been following her around for the past few weeks. She told Hayley that Marcel killed most of the wolves in New Orleans, then strong-armed a witch into cursing the rest with a nature reversal: Animal became their natural state, only turning human during a full moon.

And as if that wasn’t enough of a downer, Hayley and Elijah followed that up with “the talk.” Basically, Elijah is worried that if he puts her before his brother, Klaus is eventually going to be the end of her, which is exactly what happened to his lady-friend of yesteryear, Celeste. It was a rough conversation; never before have hand-holding and hair-brushing seemed so cold.

Klaus gave Kieran (Todd Stashwick) a heads up about the whole “war” thing, urging him to kindly escort Cami (Leah Pipes) out of New Orleans, or he’d be forced to compel her to leave.Kieran tride his best but Cami didn't wan to her it at all. In act she just dug herself into a deeper situation in New Orleans using the secret language that she developed and her bother "I have almost no idea how that works, so don’t expect me to explain it she tracked down a newspaper photograph of Klaus and Marcel from 1919."

Is Cami something up to about with the discovery that she have? Probably it is more interesting to watch in the upcoming episode of the series. In the next episode of the originals season 1 Episode 9 entitled Reigning Pain in New Orleans, Marcel, deeply conflicted by recent events, is surprised when Klaus opens up to him about some of his past indiscretions. Camille tries to make sense of cryptic messages she's come across and is disturbed when she gains some insight into Klaus' past. Meanwhile, in a surprising turn of events, the human faction takes matters into their own hands, resulting in a violent confrontation. Elsewhere, when Hayley learns of a plan to harm the werewolves in the bayou, she turns to Elijah and Rebekah for help. After heading to the bayou, they run into a werewolf named Eve, who has information that leads them to a shocking discovery.
