It's been a few days since the first trailer for The Walking Dead Season 7 trailer was released at Comic-Con.
By now you've probably watched it at least a dozen times, dissected every shot and come up with theories about what will happen during Season 7. Or maybe that's just me.
Still, there's one split second during the trailer that offers a clue as to whom Negan will kill during the opening moments of the season premiere on Oct. 23.
That moment comes briefly, as Negan is using his bat, Lucille, to rain down blows on someone's head. If you pause it at the right moment (the 1:36 mark), you can see a blurry version of Dwight standing at a spot in the background.
If you compare that shot to this photo from the Season 6 finale, it suggests the victim could be one of three people: Maggie, Abraham or Michonne. Glenn and Daryl are kneeling too far to the left of Negan to make the angle make sense.
Given what we already know, the most likely candidate is Abraham, as he and Glenn seem to be the two most popular choices. Some theories (like this one) even point to more than one victim.
You're probably thinking this is a bit of a reach. Of course, it is! But it's all we have with three months left until we get confirmation.
