Time is coming close for upcoming Grimm season 6. As the story comes to a close, events that have happened in the previous seasons will see main character Nick Burkhardt give in to the turmoil.
Since the show started, Nick was introduced to a world that caused him to lose the people he loved. His aunt and his mother were both killed doing their duties as grimms. His love life was also tangled because of his involvement in the wesen world, and when season 6 opens, he will be fighting for his son as well.
During the Armageddon Expo in New Zealand, actor David Giuntoli, who plays Nick, said, "I anticipate Nick is going to be very vicious in season 6. He was very vicious in the finale of season 5. He turns." The actor elaborated, "Nick has gone through a lot of different phases of superpowers but those kind of tailed off as the episodes go on."
He continued, "I think they want to take Nick to I don't know about superpowers but I know they want to turn him into a fierce, aggressive, kind of unhinged character, so that will be really fun to play for me."
Nick and his allies were faced with a formidable foe last season, the Black Claw. However, the fight against the evil organization has also caused deceptions within their circle. Sean Renard gave in to his desire for power, and in season 5's finale cliffhanger, he was shown to be face-to-face with Nick amid the dead bodies.
Renard is speculated to be the main villain in season 6, but winning against him will be tricky since he has Adalind and her two children, one of which is Nick's. The eldest child has proven to be very powerful and has an overwhelming desire to keep her parents, Renard and Adalind, together.
Other stories to look forward to is the family of Monroe and Rosalee, Wu's adjustment to being a werewolf, and Hank's romantic life. Juliette has also been cured from being a Hexenbeist, but as a wesen, she did awful things such as killing Nick's mother.
Viewers also need to know more about the stick that has been warned to be dangerously powerful. Grimm season 6 is scheduled to premiere on Oct. 28 on NBC.
