It's amazing how little we know about Emma Swan after five full seasons of Once Upon A Time. But hopefully we will learn more about the Savior this Sunday night.
Do you remember the pilot episode of Once Upon A Time? Granted, it aired over four years ago, but it's difficult to forget a fresh-faced Henry appearing on Emma Swan's doorstep, before informing her that she came from The Enchanted Forest where her mother was Snow White. That's the kinda conversation that sticks in your mind, really. Anyway, we haven't revisited bail bondsperson Emma since S1E1 that is until now.
The trailer for Episode 20 entitled "Firebird" hints at a monumental series of events in Emma's life, and the show will take a glance back into her past, through the medium of flashbacks. The OUAT co-creators, Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis teased the arrival of Rya Kihlstedt as Emma's 'old-life' mentor. They also explained that saving Hook from an eternity of hellish torment won't be as easy as she might have envisaged and she probably didn't envisage it being simple. What Emma is going to have to face to get him back is very different than what she thought.
