'The Originals' Season 2 Finale the Mikaelson Siblings go Head-to-Head With Dahlia in Ashes to Ashes

The Originals season 2 finale will be dramatic and intense as the Mikaelson siblings will reunite and fight for their lives in an epic showdown against Dahlia.

From the beginning of Dahlia's arrival in New Orleans, the all-powerful witches have caused lots of drama and chaos. Now it will be up to Klaus, Elijah and Rebecca to stop her plot to take Baby Hope's power and defeat the evil once and for all. In the meantime, Davina will try to execute her own plan, which includes bringing Kol back.

In last week's episode, Klaus forced Rebekah to kill herself so that she would be freed from living in a witch's body and return to her original state as a vampire. According to actress Claire Holt, living as a temporary witch has definitely changed Rebekah's outlook on life.

"Rebekah's always wanted family, and she's always wanted children and a life, and so I think she sort of started to see that there was some of those things that were possible in her witch body," said Holt to Entertainment Weekly. But, "Klaus had other plans for her. He felt that she was more durable in the original body, in my body. It was a decision that was made for her, and she understood that there were reasons behind it. But I think she's feeling conflicted as to what she really wants to do and how she wants to lead her life, and [in] which body that would be."

Despite Klaus' sinister nature, Holt suggested that Rebekah will be able to forgive her brother.
"Rebekah and Klaus' relationship is so layered and so complex and deep, and I think she's sort of in a different boat to Elijah. Elijah has had so much taken from think she's definitely frustrated with the way that Klaus behaved, but I think Elijah has more reason to disconnect with Klaus after all of this."
The actress went on to tease what fans can expect in the finale.

"The plan in this episode is for the Originals to use Davina's magic to help take down Dahlia," she said. "And while it's difficult for Rebekah to know that she needs to use this young girl, she also needs to unite with her family for a more pressing issue, which is Dahlia. And so I think it's difficult for Davina in this episode to understand why they would work against her, and she's frustrated and she's angry, but it's a necessity and it's the plan that has been laid out to lead to the epic battle at the end of the episode."

She added, "There's a huge showdown at the end of this episode, and the outcome will be totally unexpected."

She also described the finale, saying, "There's a lot of action; there's a lot of drama. I think the audience will be on the edge of their seats the entire time, which is what you expect from a show like this."

"With time running out, Klaus’ ultimate plan to protect baby Hope at all costs continues to take shape. As tensions between the siblings come to a head, Cami reveals a vital piece of information that causes Elijah  and Rebekah to reconsider their plan of attack against Dahlia. Davina finds herself one step closer to fulfilling the promise she made to Kol, while Freya is forced to take drastic measures to protect herself against Dahlia. Elsewhere, Marcel has to put aside his fury at Klaus in order to protect himself and everyone in their sire line. Meanwhile, Vincent finds himself torn between the prospects of a magic-free life away from New Orleans and a personal obligation to protect Davina. Finally, with their risky plan in place, the Mikaelson siblings prepare for the fight of their lives."

Season 2, Episode 22 of  The Originals, "Ashes to Ashes," will premiere on Monday, May 11, on The CW.

The Originals season 2 episode 19 recap Klaus, Freya and More

For fans, last week’s episode of The Originals simply set the tone for this week’s madness. This week in "When the Levee Breaks," the nineteenth episode of the second season, Klaus loses it wen he feels the pressure from Dahlia. Everyone must choose a side against Dahlia. Are you with Freya? Or are you with Klaus? There is no middle ground. Klaus invites his siblings to a celebratory breakfast in honor of Mikael’s death. Rebekah and Elijah show. Elijah wants to talk strategies for dealing with Dahlia. Klaus has a plan, but he doesn’t want to discuss it. Klaus senses an intruder and we learn that Josephine (yes, the one Dahlia slayed at the end of the last episode) has a message for the Mikaelsons. They have until nightfall the following day to hand over Hope. After she delivers the message, Klaus literally knocks her head off. Jackson really wants to take Hayley and Hope and run away from all the crazy, but Hayley knows that they are in the safest place right now. After a little discussion about how Dahlia can track Hope via her magic, Hayley gets an idea. She is hoping that if they can block or eliminate Hope’s magic, Dahlia won’t be able to track her anymore, then they can run. Rebekah goes to the cemetery to visit Freya, who is mourning Mikael. Freya gives Rebekah an ultimatum. She says that Elijah and Rebekah can either side with Klaus or with her. She is done trying to work with Klaus.

Elijah is hoping he can get Klaus to share his plans with him, but Klaus tells him that he hasn’t been able to trust his brother since Esther got into his head. Klaus believes that Freya might not have given them reasons to distrust her, but that does not make her worthy of Klaus’ secrets or loyalties.

Aiden sneaks into the Mikaelson compound to steal the witch-power-muting chains. Klaus enters the room just after Aiden stuffed them into his jacket, but he doesn’t seem to suspect anything. Aiden tells him he’s after a special stuffed animal for Hope. Klaus appreciates his loyalty, but warns that his life is worth very little if his trust has been misplaced.

Aiden takes the chains straight to Davina to see if she can transfer their magic to a smaller object, something they can use to hide Hope’s powers. Josh is, understandably, concerned for Aiden’s safety if/when Klaus figures out what he was really doing at the compound. Davina is likewise concerned, but Aiden tells them to leave that to him. Elijah goes to Freya to discuss her earlier ultimatum. Elijah wants her to work with him, Klaus, and Rebekah to take down Dahlia. She is resistant, but eventually seems to relent as long as Elijah promises to not let Klaus be their undoing.

Dahlia approaches the threshold of Hayley’s hideout. They have a little chat about how this is most unfortunate for Hayley, but Esther made this bargain with Dahlia and she expects people to live up to their word just as she lives up to hers. (Let’s ignore how Hayley has never actually promised Dahlia anything, so who’s word is being broken?) Dahlia is also so kind as to remind Hayley that little Hope will not even remember her mother, so this will be a virtually painless separation for the infant. Dahlia reminds Hayley that nightfall the following day will arrive sooner than Hayley can imagine, and she should say her goodbyes to Hope.

Cami and Klaus go get a bite to eat at a nearby cafe and discuss more of the Mikaelson family dynamic. Klaus shows no remorse for killing Mikael and Cami clearly wishes he would.

Aiden and Josh have a cute little moment where Aiden tells Josh that he loves him. Josh senses a disturbance in the force, and Aiden spills. He’s going to go tell Jackson about his spying for Klaus, and then he wants Josh to meet him in two hours so they can run off and start new lives together. Josh stops him and kisses him, telling Aiden that he loves him, too.

Marcel visits Davina. He wants to see if she’d be willing to hand over the anti-Klaus dagger for them to use if things go south against Dahlia. Davina tells him that Kol gave it to her for her protection, and she’ll be the one to decide if it gets used.

Aiden hands the necklace over to Jackson, and tells him about his double agent status. Jackson hits him, but then makes sure that Aiden knows he will always be a part of the pack. He tells him that when it came down to it, he stood by his pack.

Hayley is fed up with listening to Klaus. She is ready to run, and when she tells that to Klaus and Elijah, Klaus insists that he knows what Freya was planning and knows how to defeat Dahlia.

We then see Aiden picking up flowers, happy as can be. He hears Dahlia’s whistling and she draws him under her control and into an abandoned alley. She scratches up his face and rips out his heart. Aiden is dead and she is hoping that it will jumpstart the war.

Josh and Davina find Aiden dead in the alley. Josh frantically tries to feed Aiden his blood to heal him, but it’s no use. Aiden’s gone.

We then hear Jackson yelling as he enters the safehouse carrying Aiden’s body. He accuses him of killing Aiden, which we know he didn’t do, but Klaus embraces the accusation. They begin to fight, and Elijah stops it. He promises to keep the wolves there and keep Hope and Hayley safe until Klaus can put his plan into action. Davina arrives at Marcel’s loft to deliver the anti-Klaus dagger and tell him she wants him to put Klaus down.

Jackson loops the magic necklace around Hope’s wrist, and Hayley begs Elijah for help. She tells him that they cannot run from Dahlia and hide from Klaus at the same time.

Cami confronts Klaus about killing Aiden. He admits to her that he didn’t kill him, but it works better for him if they all believe him guilty. He knows no one will believe her, so he doesn’t worry about it.

Klaus enters his room to find Elijah there. Klaus cannot believe that his brother allowed Hayley and Jackson to run. Elijah and Klaus begin to fight and the fight ends when Elijah drives the dagger into Klaus’ heart. As Klaus begins to dessicate, Rebekah and Freya step into view.

The Originals Season 2 Episode 17 Exquisite Corpse Preview

That’s right; The Originals is going on a TV version of spring break, which means audiences will be forced to sit on the edges of their seats until the vampire drama returns. But we do have some juicy scoop on the upcoming installment that you can certainly sink your teeth into. According to the promo video of “Exquisite Corpse,” the terrifying witch Eva Sinclair will be wreaking havoc on New Orleans in the forthcoming installment.

In episode 16 fans learned the horrifying truth about Eva, who also happens to be wife. She is a witch that went rogue, killing and kidnapping children throughout the city with the hopes of inhaling their powers and she also happens to be the vessel that Rebekah inhabits.

In the last episode of “The Originals,” it was revealed that Eva found a way to take back control of her body, which allowed her to go on a murder spree. However, it was Rebekah who faced the wrath of an angry mob for the missing/dead kids. But according to the trailer for episode 17, that will be the least of Rebekah’s worries in the upcoming installment.

“Eva Sinclair has resumed control of her body, leaving Rebekah trapped,” Klaus relays the bad news to his siblings. Freya then chimes in that if Eva is killed before Rebekah’s soul is freed, then “Rebekah will be gone forever.” It will be a daunting task to keep Eva alive, especially because so many want the evil witch dead.

The Originals Season 2 Episode 16 Trust issues of Klaus

Every episode of the originals season 2 more secrets are being revealed but not only for that the trust issues also for every of the character are slowly fading. Flashback to Norway in 977 A.D.: Dahlia is cooking up some sort of gruel for Freya to eat. When Freya cries out for her Mama, Dahlia tells Freya that her Mama didn’t want her, and gave her away. We all know that is entirely false, but Dahlia’s evil, so… yeah.

Klaus invites Freya to a family brunch. These things never end well. Marcel comes to Rebekah and tells her to stay, before running out into the courtyard to confront Ms. LaRue and the gaggle of witches that are there to retaliate against Eva St.Clair (aka Rebekah’s body) for a crime she committed the previous night. Elijah appears to pacify both sides. He insists he will find who was responsible for the crimes and will make sure they pay.

Klaus sent Hayley and Jackson to the bayou for the day so that he’d be free to dine with Freya. Elijah is quick to warn him that they might actually need Freya’s help in the near future, so whatever nefarious plans he may have up his sleeve should probably stay there. Klaus seems open to getting to know his sister, but we all know Klaus never does anything without an agenda. Elijah knows this too, thank goodness.

Marcel visits Vincent and gives him the (not-so-fabulous) news that he’s been possessed for a little more than nine months. Vincent is, unsurprisingly, a little baffled by the idea, but seems to accept the reality quickly enough. Then Marcel gets down to what he really wants: information about Eva Sinclair. Vincent clams up really quickly.

Rebekah goes to Davina for help, and when Rebekah lets her in on what’s going on with this body she’s inhabiting, Davina agrees. Freya is alive, Dahlia is coming, Vincent isn’t Finn anymore and Klaus trusts no one. Just another day for The Originals in New Orleans.

Freya starts spilling the dirt on Dahlia, including that Dahlia is bound by the one-year-of-life-every-century restriction that Freya has been existing under. Dahlia wants to gather Hope’s power so that she can break the life restriction. Freya goes on to say that Dahlia taught her a new kind of magic back in Norway, which bonded them, making Dahlia unstoppable.

Jackson and Aiden are doing a little play fighting, which quickly takes a turn for the macho. Aiden warns Jackson that if the others in the pack start to sense his weaknesses, they will not hesitate to challenge him for lead of the pack.

Back at Casa de Klaus, Freya is insisting that they have never come up against a power as strong as Dahlia. She lets them know that when Dahlia learned that Esther cut off her blood line by turning her children into vampires, Dahlia wanted Freya to bear the child that would continue the bloodline and provide her with a new source of power. Freya then took a vow never to love to keep herself from subjecting a child to the same horrible past that she suffered through. Dahlia takes the last of Freya’s freedom by binding her to the once-in-a-century curse, and Freya resents her for it. When Klaus asks her why she didn’t end her own life years ago, she tells him that the curse made her impervious to harm, just like her vampire siblings. She had even that right taken from her.

Marcel brought Cami to talk to Vincent, thinking that maybe she could get the information that he needs out of him. She offers to trade him information. She’ll tell him what Finn was up to in his body if he tells her more about Eva Sinclair Rebekah is more than a little furious about the body she’s in fighting back. Elijah is eager to ask Freya for help, but Klaus thinks Freya is manipulating them. Par for the course with Klaus.

Freya is able and willing to help Rebekah, but Klaus is surly and grumpy. He doesn’t want to trust his sister, but Elijah and Rebekah are eager to let her prove her worth. While Elijah and Rebekah have a touching moment, Klaus performs one of the most Klaus-like acts in the history of his character and sneaks up behind Freya and snaps her neck.

Klaus doesn’t trust Freya because he would do exactly what she is doing if he wanted to manipulate them. Oh Klaus… sigh. Cami and Vincent continue to bond. As they discuss crazy events of the past few months, Vincent tells her to bring Marcel back so he can tell him something he needs to know about Eva Sinclair.

Klaus moves Freya’s body, and when she wakes, he is there to make sure that she knows that he doesn’t trust Elijah and Rebekah’s faith in her because they’ve continued to have faith in him, and he considers Freya to be up to his kind of antics. He wants to know what she wants. And he’s giving her one last chance.

Freya tells Klaus of the greatest horror she experienced under Dahlia’s rule of terror. Freya once broke her own vow not to love and fell for a man named Mathias. When she became pregnant with child, Mathias tried to find a way to keep their baby from Dahlia, and for that, Dahlia cursed him to death. Freya then drank a bottle of poison to kill herself and the baby, but, being invulnerable to harm (which she was then, unaware of), she later woke to find that the poison killed her child, but she will remain alive.

Klaus refuses to trust Freya. He insists she is trying to manipulate him. Freya goes on to remind Klaus that no matter how he feels about her, Dahlia is still coming, and she can and wants to help fight against her. Marcel, Rebekah, and Elijah return to see Vincent, who informs them that Eva Sinclair was/is his wife.

Klaus goes on another “I’m the only one that knows how to protect Hope” rant and Hayley listens, but she’s clearly tired of him and his ultimatums and grand declarations of distrust.

Rebekah and Marcel have a tender moment in which he reminds her that she is the strongest of her siblings, and that she will survive this. Rebekah has another flash of memory, and asks Marcel to stay with her.

We then see that Davina is amongst the young witches that Eva Sinclair has taken under a spell, as we see a pile of young bodies with markings carved into their foreheads.

The Originals Season 2 Episode 14 I Love You, Goodbye

The next episode of The Originals Season 2 will be focusing on the wedding ceremony of Hayley and Jackson. A released synopsis and promo video for “The Originals” Season 2, episode 14 titled “I Love You, Goodbye” teased that Hayley is having second thoughts and Klaus wants to harm the groom.

The brief promo video begins with Klaus telling Hayley that he does not allow members of the Mikaelson family to get married on a swamp. Then, Elijah asks what his Original hybrid brother is up to as Hayley and Jackson’s wedding ceremony take place at the Mikaelson compound.

Klaus declares that Jackson’s reign after marrying Hayley will be short-lived. However, Elijah argues that he will not let Klaus harm Jackson on the day of Hayley’s wedding.

Even though Klaus allowed Hayley to tell Jackson about their family secret, the Original hybrid does not really trust the alpha werewolf. Klaus warned in “The Originals” Season 2, episode 12 titled “Sanctuary” that he will put Jackson’s head on a spike if he ever betrays Hayley.

According to the episode’s synopsis in a Carter Matt report, Hayley will begin to have doubts and ask whether the unification ritual will really work. Hayley agreed to the wedding ceremony to save the werewolves from the witches’ control and have an army to protect baby Hope from Klaus’ enemies. After arriving at the compound, Elijah and Klaus will have a tense encounter. Elijah suspects that his hybrid brother has a plan against Jackson. Meanwhile, Kol, who is hiding a devastating secret from Davina, will be asking for Rebekah’s help when he realizes that time is no longer on his side. The other detail in the episode synopsis teased that Cami will make a startling revelation about baby Hope. “The Originals” Season 2, episode 14 titled “I Love You, Goodbye” will air on Monday night, Feb. 16, at 8/7c on the CW Network.

The Originals Season 2 Episode 13 The Devil is Damned Synopsis Revealed

And you thought your family had issues! Fans of “The Originals” will see just how warped the Mikaelson clan is when The Originals Season 2 episode 13 entitled The Devil Is Damned, airs on Monday, Feb. 9.

In the next episode viewers can expect Finn to join forces with a powerful figure from his past. This will lead him to be one step ahead of his brothers in his search for baby Hope. What mystery character will Finn be teaming up with? Well, we know Freya has just re-entered the Originals storyline. But there’s no way she would partake in the family feud, right?

As the threat to Hope’s life grows stronger, Klaus realizes he has no choice but to place his trust in his siblings to ensure she remains protected.

But Klaus will need more help than he originally anticipated. Finn will use Marcel and his tribe of hungry, blood-sucking vampires to hunt down Hope, who means the vamps, will be paying a visit to the baby’s mother: Hayley. I need you to bring me Hayley’s blood, Finn says to Marcel in the promo video for episode 13. Will Marcel betray the Mikaelson’s? It doesn’t seem as though he’ll have a choice.

Back at the bayou, "Hayley and Jackson continue to prepare for the unification ritual. “But things quickly go awry when they become pawns in Finn's dangerous plan.” Viewers can see Hayley fighting for her life in the promo video for next week's action-packed episode.

Meanwhile, Kol will face his own demons when he’s forced to confront death. “After being presented with an enticing proposition, Kol will make a difficult life or death decision,” the summary reveals. Kol is no longer invincible after Finn cursed his weasel brother with the gift of death. Perhaps that's why Kol is so reluctant to let Klaus into his head, in fear that his brother might learn the truth and kill the mortal right then and there. “I am not letting anybody into my mind,” Kol cries out.

“It’s not a question,” Klaus responds.

And Kol wont' be the only Mikaelson brother faced with a dilemma in episode 13. Elijah will find himself in the fight of his life after an unexpected visitor arrives at the safe house. We just hope Elijah is strong enough to fight back after being tortured by his mother.

The Originals Season 2 Episode 12 Preview Sanctuary

Can Klaus really keep his daughter’s survival a secret? That’s the daunting challenge Klaus will face when The Originals season 2 episode 12, “Sanctuary", returns Monday, Feb. 2.

According to the synopsis for the next installment of the hit CW series, everyone’s favorite hot-tempered hybrid will try to keep his daughter’s existence under wraps. But it looks like a few of Klaus' foes will attempt to unravel the undisclosed information.

In episode 11, Finn discovered that his brother was hiding something dark, deep down in his soul. And if he couldn’t use his magic and wits to trick it out of Klaus, he was going to strangle it out of Marcel. But Finn wasn't the only one close to learning of Hope’s whereabouts. When the previous installment concluded, Klaus learned that Hayley was going to put their daughter’s life at risk in order to save her pack.

To prevent the werewolves from wearing Esther’s moonlight rings, Hayley and Jackson came up with the idea that if they were to get hitched in a mystical and magical wolf ceremony, then their guests would absorb all their powers including control over their transformations. This would allow the wolves to cut ties with witches and free them from their control.

The only problem with this plan is that in order for it to be complete, Hayley and Jack will need to do a few pre-marriage rituals, one involving smoking the root of a plant and sharing the skeletons hidden in their closets. Klaus learned Hayley would partake in the ceremonial smoking and quickly fled to find and stop her from lighting up. However, according to the synopsis, it looks like Klaus will face an obstacle on his way to save his daughter: Jackson’s Grandmother Mary.

Meanwhile, at the bayou, Hayley will struggle to open up to Jackson in fear for her daughter’s well-being. But her soon-to-be-husband will reveal “his own secret involving Hayley’s parents” that will surprise her and maybe convince her to come clean herself.

One of the most exciting parts from the episode 12 synopsis is that Rebekah, whose soul is currently sporting a new body, will become “intrigued by a mysterious girl who has recently arrived to the insane asylum.” Could the female referred to in the summary have anything to do with Freya, the eldest child of the Mikaelson family, who was taken by Dahlia?

Here is the promo of The Originals Season 2 Episode 12 "Sanctuary".

The Originals’ Season 2 Spoilers: Will Esther Choose Life As A Vampire Or Death In The Winter Premiere?

br>
When The Originals went on its winter hiatus, the hit CW series left fans with a huge, daunting cliff-hanger: Would Esther kill herself or live as a vampire? Klaus left his mother with this ultimatum in the Season 2 midseason finale after Rebekah slipped her vampire-tainted blood into their mother’s glass of wine. When Esther drank the blood, she evolved from a witch into a bloodthirsty creature.

“You can either be the thing you hate the most or you can be dead,” Klaus said of his mother’s transformation. “Your choice. Which is more than you ever gave us.”

So what will Esther decide? Executive producer Julie Plec teased Esther’s fate.“I cannot say whether she does or does not [transition into a vampire],” Plec said. “But I can say that we learn which choice she made in the very first episode back. The Originals season 2 episode 10 returns on Monday entitled Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire.

But according to Plec’s other Season 2 teasers, we have a feeling Esther will choose a life of sucking blood over suicide. The EP also shared that Esther’s storyline will reveal why she and her spell-savvy sister Dahlia are so afraid of Mikael.

Speaking of Dahlia, the evil aunt will play a large role in the remainder of Season 2, according to co-executive producer Michael Narducci. “With the long-lost sister Freya and the powerful witch Dahlia taking the first-born children of the Mikaelson bloodline. Plec also answered our burning question of Dahlia’s possible reprisal which she hinted at the dark sorcerer’s return. “Dahlia is still lurking out there, God knows where. Dahlia's somebody we definitely haven't heard the last of as we move closer to the end of the season,” Plec said, confirming the Season 2 debut of Esther’s sister.

Morgan then explained that although Dahlia’s appearance in Season 2 may result in a full-on family feud, there’s also a silver lining to his wicked aunt's arrival. “He's got a very polarized view of Esther being an evil, wretched woman who's ruined his life. “If we start to learn that Esther had motives behind what she did and her motives were that she was doing bad things for good reasons, just like Klaus has learned to do, it's a great example of a child subconsciously learning from his parents. Maybe it will help him to understand a little bit more what Esther did, the choices she made."

The Originals Season 2 spoilers: Episode 10 promo teases major war ahead; Hope's powers will be explored when show returns

The Originals mid-season finale left us with a Vampire Esther in transition and Rebekah in a new body. At the end of Episode 9, Rebekah was trapped by Kol in a witch's body, and placed her in a witch coven's prison. According to reports, the second half of The Originals Season 2 will focus on baby Hope and her powers.

"We want to explore what makes the child of Klaus, a hybrid, and Hayley, a werewolf, completely different from any other child on this planet," executive producer Michael Narducci told Tvline.

"You'll begin to see certain signs subtle at first, then maybe not-so-subtle in terms of how this baby is something completely unique."

Executive producer Michael Narducci teased Rebekah's predicament, and confirmed the return of one of the most memorable characters in the show.

Narducci told Entertainment Weekly that the new Rebekah will be recognised by Cassie who was earlier possessed by her mother Esther.

Cassie herself will be troubled by her past circumstances. After being possessed by Esther, the harvest girl goes through a lot of post-traumatic stress.

Narducci explained: "Rebekah is going to find her at the start of episode 10 and the person who's kind of filling her in on the rules of this dangerous prison is in fact Cassie."

Meanwhile, executive producer Julie Plec also teased that two minor characters will be given the spotlight in the upcoming episodes of The Originals Season 2.

"Dahlia is somebody we definitely haven't heard the last of as we move closer to the end of the season," Plec said. "She's part of another sector of evil that's not occupied by the current Mikaelsons."

The character of Freya will also be explored in the upcoming episodes, after viewers found out that Dahlia took her away from Esther as payment for the fertility curse in previous episodes.

The Originals Season 2 Episode 10 Spoilers Mikaelson Family Feud in Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire

The Mikaelson family drama will get even more intense when The Originals returns from its winter break with an all-new episode next year.

The epic midseason finale, titled The Map of Moments, ended with major cliffhangers: Esther may or may not now be either dead or a vampire, Finn is out on the loose and Rebekah is trapped inside the body of a witch who, herself, is trapped by a cursed in a New Orleans home, reports TV Fanatic.

In a happier moment during the episode, Klaus and Hayley reunited with their baby daughter, Hope, for the first time since she was born. In the meantime, Rebekah, Klaus and Elijah devised a plan to take down their mother, Esther, once and for all.

A preview of the upcoming episode, which is titled Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire, shows that the Mikaelson family feud will reach new levels as Mikael goes on a mission to kill Klaus, and Finn is intent on taking revenge against his siblings.

The video clip also shows Klaus threatening to put someone's head through a spike, while Finn makes death threats against the vampires and the werewolves.

In addition, Klaus orders Kol to "handle" the witch problem and Rebekah meets Esther's long lost child. According to actress Danielle Campbell, a lot of things will cause changes in New Orleans after the mid-season finale.

"Everyone's got their own storyline and their own plan that they're devising in some way, and it kind of just starts to spiral out of control to the point where it's chaos and it makes for a really cool episode," Campbell said during an interview with Access Hollywood.

The Originals Season 2 Episode 10 titled Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire, will premiere on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015.

The Originals Season 2 Episode 6 Sum Up Klaus Meets His Biological Father

Time to set back and watch the originals season 2 episode 6 don't forget to grab your popcorn. What do you do when your son you know, the child you purposely weakened in order to cover up your steamy indiscretions with a local werewolf hunk demands that you return his brother and his best suit in one piece? Why, you tempt him with the long buried truth about his real father of course. At least, that’s what the conniving Lenore a.k.a. Esther Mikaelson when Klaus came a-knocking on her door: she doused him with a cold, harsh of reality. As for the rest of the characters, they didn’t have it any easier. Ever the brave soul, Hayley sought out the MIA Jackson only to find him under the thrall of a creepy-ass mentor. Meanwhile, Cami, suspicious of her new advisor Vincent, turned to Marcel for help. Unfortunately, their little snoop session turned deadly when they discovered the truth about his true identity.

In a desperate attempt to play mind games with her son and distract him from saving Elijah from himself, Esther reveals a shocking truth. His real father is alive and his name is Ansel, just like the famed photographer/hunk who portrayed Augustus Waters in The Fault in Our Stars. And the only reason she ever ignited a passionate affair with him was because Mikael went from loving husband to abusive tyrant. You see, after he returned home and found out that his firstborn had perished in his absence, Mikael freaked out as any parent would. However, instead of channeling his grief through tears and sadness he became cruel and intolerable, forcing Esther to run full-speed into the arms of another man. A few slow-jam-inspired, love-making sessions later, Baby Klaus came kicking and crying his way into the world. Oh and surprise: Ansel is alive and just so happens to be Jackson’s life guru! When Klaus comes face-to-face with him he gets all Old Testament Darth Vader on him: “Niklaus, I am your father.” Chills!

We finally find out the name of Esther and Mikael’s firstborn who passed away at a young age: Freya, named ofter the Norse goddess for beauty, love, and destiny. Apparently the poor little Viking died from the plague and this changed the course of the Mikaelson family.

Klaus coming to the rescue of the brother who’s always believed in his redemption. The almighty hybrid set his hubris aside for a few minutes and allowed his kind, gentle nature to emerge. He did this with Hope and now with the sibling who never quit on him even when he daggered him. He tries to wake him up but, unfortunately, Elijah is not in the right state of mind. Esther has inflicted some terrible magic on him, and he’s currently comatose, drifting deeper and deeper into his nightmares in which all his monstrosities are brought to light. But don’t worry, loves, because Klaus is far from happy about this situation and vengeance will be sweet. No one dares to mess with a hybrid’s favorite brother and gets away with it.

First, we learn that Esther has a sister named Dalia. Then, we learn that Esther visits her witchy sis in Norway in 972 A.D. and makes a deal: If she helps her conceive a child with Mikael, Esther promises to pays her debt back at a later time. Well, it appears jealousy and ruthlessness run in the family because Dalia appears at the end of the episode in a flashback demanding something heartbreaking from her own flesh and blood: her firstborn, Freya.

Apparently Dalia has claimed every firstborn born in their lineage, which is why Esther concocted the vampire spell in the first place. And perhaps the most heartbreaking moment of all? Learning that Freya was taken by force from her mother’s warm arms.

When Big Sis comes to collect her due payment, she rips a crying Freya away from her birth mom and carries her away right into a blizzard. That being said, this moment also provides fans insight as to why Finn is a total mama’s boy. He was old enough to witness what happened and respectful enough to carry the burden of her secret. And because of this, they have a unique bond.

According to what Esther tells Klaus, his birth renewed Mikael’s spirit and made him feel whole. This prompted the births of Henrik, Kol and Rebekah and, because of Klaus and his adorable dimples, they learned how to be a family again. Some might even say he brought them HOPE…..

The cat’s out of the bag. Marcel fills Cami on the latest gossip on the French Quarter namely, that Finn Mikaelson is masquerading around town as her advisor. Quite understandably, she freaks out because she’s revealed such intimate details about her life to a fraud. Once she settles down though, she agrees to lend a hand in distracting him via her psych student-babble deep and meaningful conversation. After inviting him out to drinks and pummeling him with questions galore, Finn grows suspicious of Cami’s sudden interest in him and why she wants to hear him assess Klaus’s personality. However, he shakes off any hesitation because, gosh darnit, he’s crushing on her harder than a Belieber on the Biebs. Even though Miss Camille is into the bad boys and not into mommy knickers-washing blokes, Finn seems to think he and his spiffy sweater vests have a shot. Cami notices his attraction towards her and let’s Marcel know that they can use this to their advantage.

Mama ‘I Know Everything’ Mikaelson apparently didn’t realize that Mikael had dropped by from The Other Side. Klaus breaks the news to her, and it really seems to rattle her. He smirks, elated to have one upped his mom, and reveals the Destroyer has risen again thanks to Davina. “Surely Kol has revealed everything to you?” he muses. “Or is mother’s loyal, little boot licker not quite so loyal after all?” Judging by Esther’s stunned expression, it appears as though Kol won’t be getting dessert after supper for a couple of weeks. Anyway, shouldn’t Esther be more thrilled to learn her hubby’s back? Well, when you think about it, he’s trying to kill their kids while she’s trying to save them so his reappearance kinda puts a damper on her plans.

After Klaus dismisses Hayley’s offer to help him hunt down Elijah, she turns to Marcel and Gia (Nishi Munshi). They’re unable to find Elijah despite their best efforts, so they decide to track down Oliver instead. Once they figure out his whereabouts, they can gather clues about where Elijah’s being held captive. So what’s the plan? Marcel and Gia distract Finn, who’s controlling the werewolves, while Hayley tracks down the pack’s hunky alpha, Jackson.

Sad news, sweethearts. Olly is gone to a land that is not where Bonnie Bennett is meaning, he can’t ever come back. While trying to help Hayley free their werewolf pack from Finn and Esther’s control, Olly ran into the aforementioned individuals and got chained up and tormented. we did appreciate his soft spot for children so we didn’t appreciate seeing him tortured.

The Originals Season 2 Episode 5 Sum Up Red Door

Everyone is just getting excited as Nina Dobrev will be in this episode of The Originals as the original doppleganger Tatia. Let us wrap up the originals season 2 episode 5.

Elijah is bloodied up and stalking a girl, who looks a lot like Hayley, down a hall. He reaches her, spins her around, and she looks like Elena now, or, rather, Tatia. He sinks his teeth into her neck, and awakes with a start.

Elijah has found himself chained up in the witches tomb/all purpose room that we have seen used so many times before. Esther, now in Lenore’s body, won’t let him go until she has said her peace. Esther wants to show Elijah the monster he truly is by revealing how he destroyed Tatia, not her.

Elijah looks on as Tatia and Klaus dance around a pyre. She looks for Elijah, however, and as soon as he walks away, she chases after him. We learn that Tatia has already lost a husband to battle, and that she was supposed to throw herself on the pyre as was customary for their time. She tells him that she has chosen to give her heart to him, and they have their kiss by the pig pens.

Kaleb and Cami are attending to Davina while Klaus hangs in the doorway threatening and being generally surly. He hands over the stake to Cami, and sends her to get the car to take Davina to the hospital. As soon as they’re alone, Klaus lets Kaleb know that he is well aware that Kol is in control of this body. They bicker, as always, and when Klaus calls to Cami and gets no response, he runs to the car to find her gone, the window bloody, and Mikael no longer lying prone in the trunk.

Klaus calls Elijah for reinforcements, then asks Kol/Kaleb to wake Davina so she can call Mikael back. He refuses. Klaus whooshes off to find Mikael while Kaleb tends to Davina, ignoring a call. When his nose begins to bleed, he answers the second call and we find out that it’s Finn. He tells Finn of Davina’s plan to unlink her friends from Klaus, then kill him.

Mikael and Cami are tromping through the woods. When Mikael tells her of his intentions to use her as leverage, she balks, shaming him for holding Klaus’ parentage against him as his fatal flaw. Mikael hushes her and goes off in search of food. They stumble across a party in the woods, AKA a buffet.

Kaleb finds what Davina was using to bind her spell, and she wakes. Kaleb tells her what’s been going on, and she sets her sights on finishing her spell before Mikael can find Klaus and kill him. Hayley goes to Marcel to let him know that the young wolves they rescued are safe and sound, only to realize that Elijah isn’t answering calls. She senses something is going on, and races off to find him, Marcel on her heels.

Elijah hasn’t fed in a while, prompting Esther to reminisce about what she and Mikael did to their children. We then flash back to a wooded area where Klaus sits cowering in fear, human body parts strewn around the clearing. Elijah arrives on the scene and tells his brother that he slaughtered six villagers. Klaus shakes with horror at what he’s become. The boys discover that Klaus is afflicted differently than any of the other Mikaelson siblings. Tatia stumbles on the scene, and Elijah remembers that he compelled her to forget what she saw.

Esther sends him back to the memory, and we see Elijah reassuring Tatia that he loves her, and that he wouldn’t hurt her. As they stand there, Elijah smells blood on her and feeds.

Mikael compelled the entire party to stand tall in front of Klaus and insult him. Klaus begins tearing them down.

Dawn has come and gone, and Mikael marches Cami into an abandoned building. They fight, Cami standing up for Klaus and reiterating that his mother’s infidelity should not be held against him, while Mikael regales her with Klaus’ laundry list of sins. He recalls Henrik’s and Esther’s deaths as fodder for his hatred toward Klaus. Cami tries to reason with him that his violence is pointless, but Mikael just simply laughs to her face.

As Klaus fights the horde, Mikael feeds on Cami. Klaus gets a call from Hayley, who is looking for help finding Elijah. She and Marcel found a blood trail to follow. Klaus cannot help though, as he has the matter of Mikael to attend to. Klaus insists that either himself or Mikael will be ash by the time this confrontation is done.

Davina continues working her spell, but is having no luck. She goes to channel Kaleb’s power, and learns of Kol’s true history. They start hexing each other until Kol calls it off, and tells her all about the craziness of the Mikaelson parents. He tells her that he either had to kill the spell or kill her, and he has grown to like Davina, so he killed the spell. She asks him how he unspelled her bracelet and freed Mikael, and he promises to show her.

Elijah accuses Esther of tampering with his memories. He doesn’t remember harming Tatia, but as he stands before her, she tells him of how she allowed him to forget his wrongdoing. She gave him the ability to maintain his nobility by hiding his indiscretions behind the red door in his mind. Throughout the centuries, as long as he looked presentable, he could keep his secrets locked away.

Elijah looks her in the eye and defies her, saying that she will never break him. She tells him that he is already broken, but not beyond repair. She can, and will, fix all of her children.

…with a little help from her friend Davina wants to break the spell on the White Oak Stake, and Kol tells her that an object that powerful can only be disabled for a short time.

Klaus enters the abandoned building and Mikael is waiting with Cami’s bloody body in his clutches. They fight. Kol tells Davina that she needs his power to do the spell, and she channels him. Klaus falls with the White Oak Stake in his heart, but rather than dying and burning up, he only falls. Davina and Kol were successful. Cami pulls the Stake from Klaus’ chest just in time as the spell dies.

Mikael finds Cami holding the stake and threatens her. Marcel walks onto the scene and slaps Mikael around. Mikael gets the upper hand, but only temporarily. The entire band of them stand together, and Mikael runs off.

Marcel isn’t happy with Davina, what with her bringing Mikael back and all, but Kol stands up for her. Marcel may not know who he is, but we think he senses that something more is going on than Davina just having found a friend. Davina holds the White Oak Stake, and intends to use it to kill Klaus.

Esther tells Elijah that he will hang where he stands until he remembers all of his atrocities, and that when he is weak, she will release him. As Esther finished, Hayley drained her, freed Elijah, and kissed him before letting him feed on her. We then see that this is all a dream, as Elijah remains shackled where he stood, eyes open, yet lost in another place.

The Originals Season 2 Episode 5 Red Door Preview Cami Tries To Calm Klaus

The next episode of The Originals Season 2 will have Cami becoming Klaus conscience as she controls the rash actions of the Original hybrid like killing. Davina still unconscious and Cami suggests the young witch should be taken to a hospital to receive proper treatment. However, Kaleb/Kol begins to throw off snide comments aimed at Klaus's werewolf side making the Original hybrid annoyed.

"You know, it's funny how often a person's sharp tongue can end up cutting their own throat," Klaus declares while staring intently at Kaleb. Cami points out to Klaus that he is talking to a kid and asks the Original hybrid to give Kaleb a break.

Kaleb/Kol still continues to taunt Klaus so Cami tells him to keep his mouth shut. Afterwards, Klaus reminds Cami that he promised not to kill Davina and killing Kaleb is not part of his promise.

Cami steps outside of the cabin to talk to Klaus before he starts doing something irrational. Cami reminds Klaus that he had the opportunity to kill his vampire hunter father, Mikael , with the White Oak Stake but he did not.

Cami may have controlled Klaus' temper but there is still a possibility that the Original hybrid will change his mind in the upcoming episode. A Carter Matt report pointed out that some fans of "The Originals" are not really happy with Cami's presence on the CW TV series because these people think the character is trying to change Klaus' vicious behavior which is something that the Original hybrid became known for since he got introduced in The Vampire Diaries.

Fans will find out if Klaus can keep his promise to Cami when The Originals Season 2 episode 5 titled Red Door, In order to show Elijah that her plan is what’s best for him, Esther forces him to relive a time long ago when he loved a young woman named Tatia (guest star Nina Dobrev). The Originals Season 2 Spoiler Klaus and Hayley Romance not to Happen in Season 2

Original hybrid Klaus and Hayley will have a stronger connection in "The Originals" Season 2 after Hayley gave birth to their daughter, Hope, and transformed into a hybrid just like Klaus. However, Aussie actress Phoebe Tonkin confirmed in an interview that no romantic relationship will be formed between the two. The Originals Season 2 begins with Hayley not really knowing how to deal with her new hybrid status and she will sort of ask guidance from Klaus even though he is not really the best person to take advice from when it comes to being a hybrid.

Nothing romantic will happen between Klaus and Hayley in "The Originals" Season 2. "They're both pretty volatile characters.

When asked about what will happen to the romantic connection between Hayley and Elijah, Phoebe Tonkin revealed that things will be different between them in the brand new season. The actress teased that Hayley and Elijah will be like meeting each other again for the first time. "She kind of puts up a wall because she doesn't want to be hurt.

As for Klaus love life, the fans can only find out about the Original hybrid's romantic past through flashback scenes when The Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev appears in The Originals Season 2 as a Petrova doppelganger named Tatia. Meanwhile,The Originals executive producer Michael Narducci responded to the people asking about the future of the Klaus-Caroline or "Klaroline" relationship in the CW spinoff series. "It doesn't feel like there's an easy way to make people drop what they're doing in Mystic Falls and come to New Orleans, and certainly once our story lines get rolling, it's going to be very obvious that it'll be very impossible for our characters to take a vacation and go to Mystic Falls," Narducci explained. The executive producer further added that the last thing that Klaus would want is to include his love interest in the messy Mikaelson family business that he must deal with first.

The Originals Season 2 Update A Trailer of Rebekah’s Lullaby

She is the one character that I love since in the vampire diaries days as she appear in the mystic falls but putting her into the originals in the New Orleans make her personality even more interesting. After the heart breaking season 1 after Hayley gave birth to her daughter hunt by the witches to be kill turns into a disaster but Klaus daughter named Hope must be turn out that she is dead but rather Klaus have the other plan to send her in the other place in the care of her Auntie Becks. We have seen that Klaus is a murderer but somehow we have seen his father side after she seen hope in the world. The Originals season 2 is even more exciting after a trailer comes out showing Rebekah tells baby Hope a lullaby of her dad Klaus and Hopes life and it is incredible. Rebekah you can see is taking such great care and has giving love to Hope as if she was her own daughter.

It is a great Trailer and we see Auntie Becks telling Hope about a great king (Klaus) and how he sworn to protect his baby princess against her enemies and all her father wanted was peace for Hope. It is kind of a tear jerker. She tells Hope of the witches and Genevieve and the magic black night stones she gave to the werewolves that took power away from the king when they used them on the full moon making the king send his precious daughter away.

Then we see Elijah talking to Klaus about Hayley and her Hybrid transformation and how she is becoming savage. She is blood thirsty and on the prowl! She says,”She is a hybrid now and has the werewolf attitude to match her new appetite! We see her killing at free will spinning out of control! We See Cami starting war with the wolves! With Marcel! All the people are coming to a war and we are about to see the best war yet! We see the parents and fights between Klaus and Esther and MIkael with Elijah! and Hope is not safe.

The Originals Season 2 Update 1 Minute Trailer of Murder and Chaos

Are you excited for the Originals season 2? Yes, im sure every originals fans are getting more excited after the first look of 30 second trailer last week. But it is more been exciting as they released this week a minute of trailer a look up for the upcoming season 2 premiere.

The newest look at The Originals season 2 is more of an extended version of our first look, but since we are all getting pretty desperate to find out more about what Julie Plec and company have in store for season 2, we’ll take what we can get.

While there’s a bit of overlap with the 30 second version from last week, there is quite a bit of new material to work with as well. Hayley’s admission that she went from mother to monster is heartbreaking, Elijah getting confronted with a seemingly naked woman is a little disturbing, and a better look at the face that Esther will be wearing, for at least a little while, has us ready for October.

It is comforting to know that at least one thing hasn’t changed. Klaus’ parting line, “A warrior fights for what they believe in. A warrior fights for his family,” takes us right back to the fundamental difference between the Mikaelsons and the rest of the Quarter: the Original family will always come back to each other.

With Rebekah out of town watching over Hope, we can’t help but wonder if/when we might be seeing a few other members of the Mikaelson clan. Surely even death isn’t strong enough to keep them apart for long. There are only a few short weeks left, and we’re certain that synopses and stills for the first few episodes are just around the corner, so make sure to check back for those.

The Originals Season 2 Spoilers: Hayley Has Her Own Agenda and Klaus Vengeance

A great and successful season 1 of The Originals and most of the fans are looking back for the Originals season 2 return this coming Monday, October 6th @8, on the CW. Season 2 will welcome back Mama and Papa Original with a vengeance; one that is singularly against their children. Mikael and Esther and the mystery son will bring misery and hell to Klaus, Elijah and gang when season 2 premieres in the Fall. The Originals Executive Producer Michael Narducci talks more about the upcoming season 2 of the series.

When you first approached mapping out Season 2, what was your main goal? There was all this conflict on the show in the first season between the vampires, the witches, the werewolves, and we really wanted to personalize the conflict in Season 2 by introducing some enemies that weren't just random bad guys. They are, in some ways, the existential villain of Klaus and Elijah's lives: The abusive father, Mikael, and the manipulative, dangerous mother, Esther.

How is Mikael and Esther's return going to affect Klaus and Elijah? By showing our characters in conflict with their mother and father, we really get to explore the past and present, who they are, why they are the way they are, what made Klaus change from a sweet little boy we saw in flashbacks to the person he is today? And it's not just because of his abusive father, but also his mother had a hand in who he became. So we really get to unpack the origin story of our Original Mikaelson family, and that's something we really wanted to do.

You had a hit show from your very first episode, but is there anything you learned during Season 1 that you're going to implement in Season 2? Wow, that is a really good question. I think Season 1 accomplished a lot of things that we really wanted to do. We started off with the premise of Hayley being pregnant, Klaus wanting to take over New Orleans, and a lot of mysteries like what was the relationship between Klaus and Marcel, Marcel and Davina, and what I learned was as much fun as it is to tell stories in the present, I really like to delve into who these characters were in flashbacks. So I really would love to do a Marcel flashback to 1930s, 1940s New Orleans. I really want to see Hayley's story of when she activated her werewolf curse. Now those aren't things we're planning to do at this moment, but what I've learned is that I love to explore where these characters come from and I really do hope we get to do more of that.

At the end of the Season 1 finale, Rebekah returned to take Klaus and Hayley's daughter Hope away from New Orleans and to safety. Since the baby was the thing connecting all the characters in Season 1, with her gone in Season 2, is her presence still going to be felt?

Absolutely. The baby represents a major drive for our characters. They know that they have certain enemies, and if they don't defeat those enemies, then the baby will never be completely free or safe. But there is a world where, if they can clean up New Orleans, and make it safe again, they can bring Hope and Hayley together. And then if Rebekah ever wanted to return, she'd obviously have a connection with the baby so she could at some point. So we definitely will refer to and see that baby again.

Let's talk about Hayley, because she went through quite a lot in the Season 1 finale, giving birth to Hope, saying goodbye to Hope and dying and coming back to life as a hybrid. When we come back in Season 2, how is Hayley going to be handling all this?

Not very well. Hayley is going to go through a very difficult time transitioning. I saw some fan speculation online, like, "Oh, I wonder if Hayley's transition into being a hybrid is going to be the same story of Elena becoming a vampire," and of course not. We're not going to repeat ourselves.

So what can you tell me about Hayley's transition into a hybrid? I think that Hayley is going to go through the world's worst post-partum depression. Not only has she lost her child, she also died and came back as a hybrid. By dying and coming back as a hybrid, she completely severed her connection to her werewolf pack. They will now look at her as just another vampire. So whereas she could have been a queen, now she's just the enemy. What's that going to do to her? If you had a connection to your family and then they disowned you, what would that do to you? That's one of the things we wanted to explore with her as she's trying to find a new identity. I think she's going to have a really interesting journey.

Absolutely that the fans out there are getting more excited as the two major characters that we love in TVD is back in life and we can watch them again in the Originals Mikael and Esther will seriously bring no mercy to Klaus but how Klaus will handle it just watch the originals season 2 this coming October just marked up your calendar.
