Outlander Season 2 Spoilers: Sam Heughan’s Jamie Fraser to die?

As the days we are counting in Outlander season 2 will be premiering on April 9, 2016. The second season of historical time-travel drama series will be depicting the journey of Claire Randall in Paris. With the rising Jacobite and responsibility of making Claire reach her real home, Jamie Fraser’s life seems at risk.

In Outlander season 2, Claire and Jamie would be seen in Paris attempting to prevent the Jacobite risings by subverting the funds that King Louis XV of France is providing to the pretender Charles Stuart. It is also reported that second season of the Starz’ hit series hinges on the Outlander series’ novel titled “Dragonfly in Amber” by Diana Gabaldon.

Apparently, the plot of Outlander season 2 is closely related to the novel, and Jamie might be seen leaving Claire and Brianna to die in the battle. Brianna MacKenzie is the daughter of Claire and Jamie, raised by Frank Randall and Claire together.

It is also reported that Jamie will be taking the time to recover after a sexual assault by Randall, and Claire will return to her current home in the meantime. She will get to know that Frank has passed away. In the aftermath, Claire will take Brianna and Roger to Scotland and reveal them the entire truth of their parenting.

Meanwhile, back in the years with Jamie, Brianna is still an unborn child. Jamie would be seen forcing Claire to leave with her unborn child and stay behind to die in the battle field in Culloden. Teasing on the lines of plot for Outlander season 2, Balfe told “But the poor guy gets this woman back that he loves and she’s pregnant with another man’s child. She tells him that she’s never going to love him again and that’s very tragic.” Adding to this, Heughan said, “It’s less weapons. It’s more politics, more backstabbing and darkness. There are some pretty dangerous characters involved.”
