Papa Tunde bring down the house in the previous episode of the originals. As one of the four witches that brings back to life after the harvest is finished and as we all expected he did a great comeback in the New Orleans in killing the army of Klaus but he have the chance to have one on one with Klaus by using the body of Rebekah, who temporarily had her powers sucked out by the well-dressed warlock.
Papa Tunde, with his ability to suck out vampires’ powers, was merely a pawn in Celeste’s (Shannon Kane) ultimate plot to claim New Orleans for herself. The final scene of the episode found her slitting Papa Tunde's throat, absorbing the powers of all the fallen supernatural creatures. Klaus might not be retaining as many loyal followers as he’d hoped. After a well-intentioned speech to his vampire brethren, meant to rally them for battle, a good chunk of them high-tailed it out of the compound led, of course, by the now-freed Thierry.
And once she’d been restored to her usual sassy self, Rebekah was read the riot act by Elijah for conspiring to overthrow Klaus. But rather than an apology, Elijah ended up getting an earful from his baby sis, who called him a hypocrite and stormed off into the Quarter.
Hayley and Elijah’s relationship also took an interesting turn this week. She essentially admitted she has feelings for him, but he told her they can’t spend time together out of respect for his brother.
But even after that ‘understanding,’ Elijah is clearly unable to stay away. That whole scene at the end, with Elijah standing by the candles looking up at Hayley on the balcony, was perfection. I know this sounds gross, but I can’t wait for her to pop Klaus’ baby out so she can bone his brother.
In the next episode of The Originals Season 1 Episode 13 entitled Cresent City, At the re-opening of St. Anne's Church, Father Kieran finds himself in a great deal of trouble after a run-in with a witch from his past. Marcel and Rebekah grow concerned when the reemergence of someone they once knew threatens to expose secrets they’ve kept buried for nearly a century. Elsewhere, Sophie is shocked when a discovery is made at the cemetery, but she soon realizes things may not be as they seem. With the full moon looming, Hayley lets Rebekah in on her plan to throw a party for her werewolf clan, but things take a dangerous turn when uninvited guests arrive. Meanwhile, Camille is conflicted when she makes a difficult decision involving the safety of Father Kieran, and Elijah finds himself facing his own dilemma when he has to choose between Hayley and his siblings. Finally, when one of his plans fails, Klaus takes drastic measures in the Cauldron, resulting in dangerous repercussions that affect everyone involved.
