Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Episode 20 Free Fall

With the evidence against Ezra piling up, and the amount of pills in Spencer’s tummy at an all-time high, there was only one place left for the residents of Rosewood to go from here: a black-and-white movie.

While I wasn’t sure totally which parts were actually happening, and which parts were merely part of Spencer’s hallucination for example, I’m pretty sure Hanna doesn’t work for the phone company here were the biggest moments from the episode that I think happened:

Ezra told Toby that, not only is Alison alive, but Spencer knows where to find her.

Ezra told Aria that he knows she knows Alison is alive.

Aria told Spencer she’s been “really seeing” Ezra again.

The girls came face-to-face with Alison, and Spencer accused her of setting them up for something.

And, of course, Spencer proved to Emily and Hanna that Ezra is “A.”

So now that we’ve gotten that messy plot out of the way, can we just talk about how incredible this episode was? I understand that it’s probably the show’s most polarizing hour of all time — some fans will love it, while others will wonder why it was made in the first place — but even with its bizarre origins, you have to appreciate how beautifully this thing was filmed.

The lighting, the music, the costumes. Everything worked together in perfect harmony to capture the most authentic tribute to old-school noir I’ve seen in a long time. There’s a reason more shows don’t do this; it’s hard work! In terms of the acting, I think we can all agree that Spencer was totally in her element; it’s like she was born to do this.

In the next episode of Pretty Liars Season 4 Episode 20 entitled Free Fall, Spencer is determined that it is finally time to tell Aria about what she has found out about Ezra, but Emily and Hanna are worried about what it could do to their friend. A wrench is thrown into the plan when Ezra tells Aria about his concern and suspicion of Spencer's recent addiction problem. Now with Spencer's credibility being questioned, can the girls trust what Spencer has been telling them about Ezra? Could this all be a figment of Spencer's tired brain or really just a clever plot by Ezra to cover his tracks?

Here is the promo of the Upcoming Episode:
