Game of Thrones Season 6 Possible things to Happen to Snow, Dragons in Westeros and More

Winter is Coming this April 24, 2016 Sunday night on HBO as Game of Thrones season 6 makes its anticipated season premiere. With a new episode comes speculation about what will happen in the series known for jaw-dropping surprises, deaths and dragons. Only President Barack Obama, the show's actors and crew along with George R.R. Martin have actual answers to the many questions fans have had since the "Game of Thrones" Season 5 finale, but here's a guess of what will happen in Season 6.

This one is easy with the only question being just how long it takes for Jon Snow to come back from the dead. We are all concerning here for Jon Snow because we want him to be alive again. It's likely the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere, "The Red Woman," begins with a few scenes that establish some of the narrative arc that will be addressed in the upcoming episodes. It could involve the aftermath of the Battle of Winterfell or perhaps the reintroduction of Bran Stark. Game of Thrones Season 5 started with a Cersei flashback, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that the new season starts with a flashback to young Ned Stark at the Tower of Joy cutting to a scene involving Bran and the three-eyed raven beyond the Wall.

Any of the storylines from the Game of Thrones Season 5 finale could be quickly explored to start season 6, which will lead to an answer to everyone's favorite question. Ser Davos will likely have to keep the Night's Watch at bay just long enough to let Melisandre perform some red magic that will revive Jon Snow. Every fans are begging to let Jon be revive again just for the sake of the north and walkers are approaching. The best guess is that this happens pretty early on in the episode but it would be great to see viewers slowly growing impatient until Jon Snow's fate is revealed at the very end of "The Red Woman."

Assuming there are only two more seasons after Game of Thrones Season 6, Daenerys must cross the Narrow Sea sooner rather than later. It wouldn't make much sense to spend six seasons on her journey to claim the Iron Throne only to rush through the pivotal moment of her arrival, along with three dragons, to Westeros. Daenerys starts the season with the Dothraki, but it's likely she gains their trust enough to become the leader of another massive army. If she's preparing to go to Westeros, that means Daenerys has to return to Meereen for her two dragons and the wise counsel of Tyrion and Varys, two people who will be vital in easing her transition into King's Landing. Daenerys' arrival would make for an epic season finale, so fans will have to wait awhile to see how the show handles this important moment.

The Return Of Rickon Rickon was last seen three seasons ago, so it's anyone's guess where the youngest Stark sibling could be. In the "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels, Rickon was taken by Osha to the island of Skagos. Ser Davos, in an effort to win over the North to Stannis Baratheon's cause, has to retrieve Rickon from the isolated island.

A lot of that will have to be changed for Game of Thrones Season 6 because Stannis is dead and Ser Davos is preoccupied with taking care of Jon Snow's corpse. Sansa Stark now knows her brothers are not dead, so she can help spearhead an effort to find the lost Stark once she settles in with some northern allies. This is could be an exciting season as the Starks are slowly rising again start of with Sansa.

The Boltons Get What's Coming To Them The Battle of Winterfell was a rout of Stannis' depleted forces. With this obstacle out of the way, the Boltons remained in power in the North. Ramsay Bolton, everyone's favorite flaying psychopath may not meet the same fate as Stannis or Jon Snow in Game of Thrones Season 6, but it's likely his army will not be victorious in the teased Battle of the North.

And The Wall Came Crumbling Down The Night's Watch is in shambles, Jon Snow is temporarily dead and most of Westeros believes the White Walkers are just a myth. All of that will spell disaster for the one thing that's preventing an undead invasion. Trailers have revealed the Night's King in front of a massive, nearly impossible-to-kill, army. The remaining Night's Watch even if the Wildlings decide to stick around instead of following Jon Snow will be completely overwhelmed by this powerful force.

Those are just a few bold predictions for Game of Thrones Season 6. Considering this will be the first season that readers will be spoiled by the show there will be plenty of surprises. Lots of shocking deaths is probably the general plan. Cersei's issues with the Faith will probably be sorted out. Arya will surely be on her way back to the Seven Kingdoms as well. Where the Tyrells and the Greyjoys fit into all this is an open question for us.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Sansa Stark Bounces Back

A victim no more, Sansa Stark will become a leader on Game of Thrones this season 6, actress Sophie Turner has said. “This is the season I’m most excited for. Sansa’s coming into her own and standing up for herself,” the actress a surprisingly optimistic outlook for a character on a show with a reputation for brutality.

The actress has hinted that Sansa will take on a more empowered role since the character escaped the evil Bolton family at the end of season five.

“I think people really, really respond to characters that are very strong willed…and I think Sansa keeps everything so under wraps in order for her to survive. I think people often question her motives because she doesn’t do everything on the surface,” she said. “She doesn’t fight back immediately, but she’ll get her revenge one day I think.”

That moment may come this season. At the SAG Awards in January Turner hinted, “It’s her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it’s really good.”

She told the Wall Street Journal that the character is starting to become “a leader, rather than a pawn in someone else’s game.”

But she added that the she hopes the show kills off Sansa eventually. “I don’t want to survive,” she said. “If you’re on Game of Thrones and don’t have a cool death scene what’s the point?”

Game of Thrones Season 6: Major Hints from the Trailer

The long awaited trailer of Game of thrones season 6 is finally released and so many things that we have seen that gives us some major hints in what is up to for the next upcoming season.

Thankfully after what has felt like a veritable age, we’re in to the final stretch before Game Of Thrones season 6 bursts from the ashes of Jon Snow, Stannis Baratheon and his poor, crispy daughter. It may sound like a cliche, but the next season legitimately feels like the biggest yet, with the biggest thrills, the biggest threats and inevitably the biggest rewards. But it’s going to be an ordeal to get there.

With Cersei and Jaime vowing vengeance, Dany under the captive control of the Dothraki and new players announcing their arrival with violence and bloodshed, the stakes are incredibly high. Even without a trailer, the questions posed by the end of season 5 would have been enough to draw fans back in, but now that the teaser has posed some of its own questions, the hype train is at full speed on the speculation track to theory town.

We chop ups some of the major hints from the trailer that could possibly be happening in the next season 6.

The Tyrells 

 After the beginnings of tension between the Sparrows and the hedonistic ruling classes in season 5, it looks like the forthcoming season will erupt into actual violence. And regardless of how confident the High Sparrow is of his God’s will protecting him, the relatively limited forces of the Faith Militant should be overwhelmed by a real army.

Most intriguing of course is the fact that the trailer reveals Jaime Lannister sitting at the front of an army of Tyrell guards confronting the High Sparrow, suggesting that the fractured relationship between the two Houses will be put aside in favor of one unified agenda: rescuing the Tyrell brats.

Lannisters Reunited 

 Despite the fact that Cersei should be legitimately annoyed at Jaime for mishandling his onwe job he had last season so badly that their daughter ended up dead with a frothy mouth, it looks like she doesn’t actually hate him. She really seems to blow hot and cold on Jaime. Presumably, Tommen’s death will be what drives the Lannisters to work with the Tyrells. But whatever the final trigger, seeing the pair turn into the Toxic Twins of Westeros would be wonderful.

Tyrion Frees The Dragons 

Though he wasn’t in the trailer for more than a couple of seconds, the brief flash of Tyrion descending into darkness was potentially hugely revealing because of what it suggests. Given what we know of Mereen’s lower caverns, the most obvious leap would be to assume that the increasingly perilous situation in Mereen drives him to unleash the two dragons she locked away.

Margaery Will Be Forgiven 

The sight of Margaery on her knees before the High Sparrow in the trailer seems to suggest that her difficult time may be coming to an end. Presumably, there’d have to be an almighty caveat, but there are two distinct possibilities that wouldn’t diminish the High Sparrow’s power or compromise his religious conviction.

Lancel Will Die

It surely can’t be long before Lancel Lannister joins his cousins in the grave: there are too many indicators already that he’s destined for a bloody end. He’s confidence, cock-sure and believes his cause makes him untouchable. Pretty much every other character that has fit that sort of billing in the past has been spectacularly killed.

The fact that he comes face to face with Cersei and her new pocket monster suggests he’s set to go the same way, particularly as he makes the foolish mistake of threatening them.

Bran’s Training

Bran has been gone long enough now that Isaac Hempstead Wright now looks like a completely different person, and that’s sort of the point for season 6. Gone will be the boring Hobbit-like figure trying to find self-worth and destiny in the three eyes of the Raven, as he’s finally reached his meaningful destination. We are all hoping about Bran for this season.

The Greyjoys Save Sansa 

After Reek’s betrayal of his master at the end of season 5, it seems inevitable that his family will be playing an increased role in season 6. The arrival of bad boy pirate Euron Greyjoy is one thing, but there were hints in the trailer that the Greyjoys will actually be mobilizing as a military force as well.

The Wildings At War

Having been saved by Jon Snow at Hardhome and led back to the fresh threats at the Wall, the question of what the Wildlings do next is a pretty massive one. We know that Jon offered them settlement, but that Alliser Thorne fears them and wants them all dead, so how they escape that particularly situation is a big issue.

Presumably, Alliser allows them to leave the Wall through the South gate because the trailer shows their forces facing off with the Bolton army at Winterfell. It’s unlikely Ramsay will march North to the Wall , so that would suggest the Wildlings coming south kicks the Boltons’ defense into gear and they meet them on the battlefield.

Ser Davos The Bad-Ass

Rather wonderfully, it looks like season 6 will see the rise of Davos Seaworth as a warrior bad-ass with a strange commitment to protecting Jon Snow’s corpse.

The question of why he would be doing so when there’s a very distinct chance that dead people rise from the grave as wights is somewhat puzzling until you consider Melisandre. She’s capable of at least some of the same magic that brought Beric back to life several times (and she knows what Thoros is capable of) and despite her current crisis of confidence, the trailer has shown she will be magically dabbling again.

Is Ghost Dead?

This may seem like a strange supposition based solely on the briefest flash in the trailer, but there’s a nagging suspicion that Jon Snow’s loyal canine sidekick might also have been shown dead in it.

There is of course an argument for the direwolf simply being depressed, but the fact that the creature doesn’t stir when Davos unsheathes his sword should be a fairly ominous sign. I have to admit that Im so inlove the direwolf since in season 1 those are wonderful sidekicks of the starks children.

Jon Snow is Dead (Okay, So Maybe He’s Not)

Season 6 can’t come quick enough if it puts paid to the theorizing about Jon Snow’s survival or death, and it’s going to either way. The repeated shots of Snow in the trailer being all dead seemed to be a fairly strong indication that he’s actually proper dead, but then they go and spoil it all by apparently outright showing him alive and well. And not only that, it doesn’t appear to be a flashback, but rather a part of the Wildling battle with the Boltons at Winterfell.

So, hopefully Snow isn’t actually going to fully die or will be revived and can ride in as the Wildlings’ white knight, killing Ramsay and Roose in the process and severing their penises for his sort of brother, Theon.

An Answer To R + L =J 

After a good few seasons of teasing and theorizing, it seems that Ned Stark will actually be back for season 6 in a flashback sequence that will take the show back to the time of the Civil War, and specifically to the red mountains of Dorne.

The trailer seemed to suggest that we will be getting an answer to the R+L=J theory, as the sequence in question will presumably see Ned lead a charge on the Tower Of Joy and the discovery of his sister dying within. This is after all the perfect opportunity to see more of Jon Snow’s story.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Trailer is Out Violence is Everywhere

Finally the long wait is over! Big thank you to HBO in releasing the most awaited Game of thrones season 6 trailer fans all over the world are so eager to watch it. It is almost a month and a half before the show is back fans are now happy for the trailer and yet eager for what is the next story line of the show in season 6. It is really a real deal for all us fans to take a look for the first time for what is gonna happen in the next season its getting more mysterious and deep for the every characters no doubt the Emmy award winning drama is being love by so many fans all over the world since it is the first novel by George R. R. Martins to be adapted.

Internet is keep spoiling us. The biggest headline that most of the fans are waiting for is all about Jon Snow. Yes we want images of Jon to keep it really true that he is back after those heartbreaking brutal death scene in season 5. Just this week also it is been confirmed that Jon is back in the season 6 but as a corpse. “He’s gone,” proclaims Ser Davos.

At King’s Landing, Jaime assures Cersei: “Everything they’ve taken from us they’re going to take back and more.” Later there’s an apparent face-off with members of the Faith Militant, who warn Cersei that “her man” The Mountain had best step aside “or there will be violence.” Cersei: “I choose violence.”

At Castle Black, Melisandre shows uncharacteristic doubt and grief about her abilities after last season’s senseless child sacrifice: “The great victory I saw in the flames, all of it was a lie.”

Bran Stark standing up (so it’s a vision, right?), and then seeing The Night’s King.

Ser Jorah finding that ring that Daenerys dropped in the season 5 finale after she was captured by a Dothraki clan. We also see a shot of the Dothraki charging.

A figure jumping off a roof. Could it be Arya? We also have a glimpse of her blind and being struck.

Armies in battle, including a quick cut to a flayed man on a crossbeam. (So, are the Boltons involved?)

“You’re in the great game now,” says Tyrion to an unseen person. “And the great game is terrifying.”
