The Vampire Diaries Season 8 A Final Good Bye

The Vampire Diaries is ending after eight seasons. That much was revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con panel for the show. The CW lifted the lid on a beautiful video that had the cast saying their goodbyes to the fans that have stuck with the show through it all.

We also got word that Kevin Williamson has been back in the writers room. He made it clear that the show will always be dear to him.

“I’ve never been too far away. … As Julie and I sat down to write the first episode of Season 8 together, I was freaking out. … Julie was like, ‘You write all the Damon stuff.’ It came back pretty quickly, and I think we’ve got a great Season 8 planned out. It’s really nice to live in this world again.”

Williamson was responsible for the show when it was on top creatively. The last few seasons have suffered a downturn in quality.

Julie Plec shared very few details about the final big bad of the series.

“The villain has a finger so far. … It’s a new take on villains for us. It’s rooted back all the way to ancient times.”

Williamson chimed in with his take on this new villain, noting that it's a “cool way to infuse Mystic Falls with this ultimate evil. It’s like a cherry on top of the entire mythology of Mystic Falls.”

It all sounds very apocalyptic and we can't wait to see how this new villains comes together.

Will she be able to match the greatness of both Klaus and Kai?

Ian Somerhalder let us in on the news that Damon and Enzo would be "doing some gnarly s–t,” adding that “the mind control thing is actually quite interesting. … In their minds, they’re still them. That conflict and that struggle is what we always look for.”

Kat Graham also revealed that Bonnie will be struggling in the aftermath of losing her magic. Will that be the main conflict for Bonnie of the final season?

We don't know for sure. Her boyfriend, Enzo is off with Damon doing some pretty crazy stuff.

Finally, we got word that Caroline Forbes will be very busy trying to keep a connection to Alaric while raising the twins. She'll also join forces with Stefan and Bonnie to locate Damon and Enzo.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Dark Damon is Back

When The Vampire Diaries Season 7 returns for its final season, Damon and Enzo will still be under the murderous influence of the unknown evil that had been lurking in the Armory's vault. And although we have precious little time left with our favorite TVD characters.

Julie Plec has said this season is all about bringing TVD back to its roots, and for Damon, that means reconnecting with his dark side. When The Vampire Diaries began in 2009, Damon wasn't the brooding, tortured anti-hero fans stan for now. In fact, he wasn't the hero at all; he was the Big Bad. Within the first eight episodes alone, Damon turned Matt's sister Vicki into a vampire, attempted to seduce Stefan into drinking human blood, ruthlessly murdered at least three people Stefan's best friend Lexi, included and violated Caroline mentally, physically and possibly sexually.

In short, Damon was not a good dude. But as The Vampire Diaries continued, the show began to focus heavily on the reasons behind Damon's behavior and, more specifically, the reasons why he was so convinced goodness wasn't something he deserved. That's not to say that understanding the pathology behind Damon's actions makes them any less abhorrent, but by exposing Damon's internal struggle over the type of man he wants to be versus the type of man he thinks he is, The Vampire Diaries turned Damon into an endlessly complicated figure who has never stopped challenging the audience's limits when it comes to empathy and forgiveness.

That's because while Damon has grown exponentially since he first returned to Mystic Falls, he still remains his own worst enemy. When faced with a tough decision, viewers never know which Damon will respond: the noble Damon, who will sacrifice everything to help those he loves, or Dark Damon, who will lash out at or abandon his loved ones when he doesn't want to face his reality. It's a battle Damon is still fighting to this day, and this new evil is primed to take it to the next level.

By taking control away from Damon, this villain also takes away Damon's ability to run away from his decisions. That means there are no distractions, no bottles to hide in or means to atone that have previously provided Damon with avenues to avoid confronting himself. There's just the truth, which is that although Damon is currently being forced to murder under this woman's command, he has no such excuse for his past sins. It's possible that by being forced into a literal fight between the evil controlling him and his own humanity, Damon will gain that previously elusive perspective he's always needed and finally find peace with himself.

That may seem overly optimistic, but with the end of the series nigh and Nina Dobrev's imminent return, if Damon really wants a chance at his happy ending with Elena, he needs to truly become the person he's always said he's wanted to be.

At the very least, Dark Damon is sure to give us lots more scenes of Somerhalder's signature sass and smirk. And at the end of the day, do we really need much else?

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Spoilers: Kat Graham Teases Major Death In Final Episodes

The Vampire Diaries isn’t going to leave TV without a few more jaw-dropping moments. Actress Kat Graham revealed that not everyone is going to get a happy ending when the series comes to a close with Season 8. Fans should prepare to lose a major character.

Graham, who plays Bonnie, revealed to the Hollywood Reporter that there is “a big death coming up” on the CW drama. She added that it wouldn’t be right away, though. “Not in the season premiere but, you know, midway through, someone’s kickin’ the bucket,” she said.

Anyone could die on “TVD.” As humans, Alaric and Matt are always in danger, and Enzo and Damon are being controlled by an evil entity when the season kicks off. Typically, viewers could rule out a handful of characters being killed off. However, with the last season confirmed, any major characters could depart a little early.

Executive producer Julie Plec previously hinted that it wouldn’t be all doom and gloom for the gang in Season 8. She even hinted that a few might live happily ever after. “The goal is not to try to make the fans happy because of some small thing they’ve latched onto that they consider important to them, but to make the experience resolve itself satisfyingly … really delivering on a good, happy ending, as much as that’s even possible for each character,” she revealed to seat42f earlier this month.

It’s going to take a lot of work to get to any sort of happiness though. There’s a new character in Mystic Falls determined to make life miserable for the Salvatores and their friends. “There’s definitely a really cool female villain. I know the actress she’s amazing,” Graham teased. “It’s a take on an old classic story that we’re bringing to life.”

Not much is known about the villain, but at the show’s final San Diego Comic-Con panel, Plec promised it would be a fresh spin on a bad guy. “It's a new take on villains for us. It’s definitely something that’s rooted back all the way into sort of ancient times. And other than that, I’m going to have to let you wait and see for yourselves,” she teased.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 premieres Friday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m. EDT. on The CW.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Updates: What to Expect in the Final Season

Kat Graham reveals the death of a major character in The Vampire Diaries final season. The Vampire Diaries Season 8 could well be the last for the series, but this final season is expected to leave a mark to its loyal viewers. In an interview, actress Kat Graham said that the finale season will not bring a happy ending to everyone. In fact, she advised the fans to brace themselves for the death of a major character.

Graham, who plays Bonnie in the CW series, went on to say that the death will not happen very early in the season. According to the actress the somebody in going to die, maybe not in the season premiere but could be in the middle.

Who will die?

Who could be the major character that will be killed off? Since it was confirmed that Season 8 will be the last for the series, it could just be any of the major characters. As human beings, Alaric and Matt are always the ones in danger. Enzo and Damon can't be ruled out either since they will be controlled by an evil entity at the start of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.

Happy ending for everyone

It will not be all doom for the coming season, however. EP Juli Plec hinted that some of the characters will have their happy ending. This doesn't mean, however, that the fans will get exactly what they want.

Plec has this to say on the matter, "The goal is not to try to make the fans happy because of some small thing they've latched onto that they consider important to them, but to make the experience resolve itself satisfyingly … really delivering on a good, happy ending, as much as that's even possible for each character."

A cool female villain

This will be a tall order indeed since a new character will be introduced to make life miserable for the Salvatores and their friends. Graham hinted that the new villain will be a cool female. She further revealed that the final season will bring an old classic story back to life.

Plec, on the other hand, promised at the show's Comic-Con panel that they will be putting a new twist on the villains. She explained that it's something to do with the ancient past.

A love life for Alaric

One of the things to look forward to in this final season is how Alaric would finally end up in a relationship. He did not have a happy love life in the past two seasons of the series. Alaric was previously involved with Jo, but it sadly ended when she passed away.

He then had a relationship with Caroline but she decided to get back with Stefan after their twins were born. Plec said that they are now thinking of how his love story will be written in the final season of the series.

Plec also answered what fans have been asking about for the final season. She confirmed that there will be no crossover with "The Originals" for one last time since the two shows have different timelines.

Vampire Diaries Season 8 Will be The Last

Put a White Oak Stake in it; after its upcoming The Vampire Diaries Season 8 shall be no more. The decision was announced Saturday during The CW drama’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con; as you can imagine, the thousands of fans in attendance were not pleased.

TVD‘s seventh season wrapped May 13 with a bittersweet hour: Though Bonnie’s life was spared and Stefan got his long-awaited reunion with Caroline, Damon and Enzo fell prey to the nameless evil within the Armory’s vault, sending them on a west-coast killing spree.

While discussing Nina Dobrev’s cameo in the Season 7 finale her first “appearance” on the show since departing in 2015 executive producer Julie Plec confirmed that she hopes to see Elena return (in front of the camera) for the show’s big send-off.

“It’s what she and I kind of agreed on when she decided to move on, and it’s what I’ve got in my head,” Plec explained. “Obviously things can change throughout time, if the show goes on longer than we expect it to, or if we all collectively decide it would be fun to bring her back earlier, and she wanted to. … I’m sticking with my side of the plan, which is to bring her back at the very end.”

The Vampire Diaries Update: Season 8 is it Goodbye for Bamon?

The filming of The Vampire Diaries season 8 has commenced, and we are nearing the time when we'll have to say goodbye to both Bonnie and Damon.

The actors who essay these characters Kat Graham and Ian Somerhalder have decided to quit the show after the upcoming season, and there's a lot of interest in how their departure will affect their onscreen characters.

According to one popular theory, Season 8 will end with Bonnie's death, which will bring Elena back to the land of the living. As fans of the show know, Kai put Elena in a magic-induced sleep in the Season 6 finale and linked her life to Bonnie's in such a way that Elena won't wake up as long as Bonnie lived.

While there are many who want Elena and Damon to be the endgame, some others believe that both Bonnie and Damon will die when the season comes to a close. Chances are also high that "The Vampire Diaries" will wind up with Season 8, as it would have lost at least three of its main characters, including Nina Dobrev. The ratings have also not been too kind to the vampire drama. The network will take the final call based on audience reaction. "In my dreams it isn't [the last season], but we will see how the audience will react," CW president Mark Pedowitz told the media back in May.

However, showrunner Julie Plec had earlier said she wanted to carry on with the show only as long as both Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley were on board. "I finally realized that my destiny on this show, creatively, is tied to Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley. And I mean that in a really good way. As long as those boys who I now consider my friends want to keep telling the story, then I won't walk away from telling the story," she told E!News in January.

"The Vampire Diaries" returns Friday, October 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Update: Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's Intimate Scenes Upset Nikki Reed

A forever Delena fans rejoices over the top as it is really happening in The Vampire Diaries season 8 Elena is back. At the time, one of the most favorite topics among "The Vampire Diaries" fans is Nina Dobrev's return. There is no doubt that many fell in love with her character and her character's undying romance with Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder). However, Somerhalder's wife, Nikki Reed is against the Elena-Damon reunion in The Vampire Diaries Season 8.

Many are hoping to see Elena and Damon together to continue their unique love story. However, Nikki Reed is reportedly threatened with the imminent onscreen reunion of the ex-lovers.

Unfortunately, Reed can't do anything because her husband and Dobrev's romance is one of the most interesting parts of "The Vampire Diaries" series that can potentially save it from cancellation.

There are rumors that that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder will have steamy scenes in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Per the report, there are several love scenes that are added to draw the attention of many "TVD" fans. The love scenes are necessary to keep the show afloat.

Unfortunately, the awaited love scenes will surely not be that easy for The Vampire Diaries Season 8 set as Nikki Reed won't surely approve it.Reed hates Nina Dobrev and doesn't want to see her husband again with his on-screen partner in a steamy romance.

But as they say, Reed can't do anything if the "The Vampire Diaries" producers push this. "The show did so much for Ian and Nina's careers and put them on the map. For Julie Plec and the other writers and creators, they feel like they owe it to them to suck it up and send the show off any way they want to send it off," Anyway, both are professionals.

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Characters Fate Revealed

The Vampire Diaries season 7 already concluded but in a tragic way. Fans saw Bonnie Bennet saved by Damon Salvatore and her lover Enzo. However, they turned into bloodthirsty killers again. In the finale episode, the two were shown murdering people and hanging their bodies on the ceiling.

Damon and Enzo successfully killed the Everlasting undoing Bonnie’s desire to kill her vampire friends. As a result the two became uncontrollable murderers. In the upcoming The Vampire Diaries Season 8 , Bonnie is expected to help them once she learns that she is the reason they are killing innocent people.

Executive producer Julie Plec revealed that the event in season 7 finale is only one of the circumstances out of their control so Bonnie should not feel guilty about it. Plec hints that her character might be stronger in season 8.

I do, however, think she is in a terrible emotional place, because two of the people she loves most in the world are in a bad spot, and she doesn’t have the equipment to fix them or to help them. It’s going to be tough for her to get thought the next chapter.

As for Caroline and Stefan, the pair got reunited in the season 7 finale so the next season is expected to be more colorful for their relationship. After being a part, the couple decided to get back together again.

Nina Dobrev had a short cameo in the finale episode giving fans hope that she is retuning in season 8. Her character Elena Gilbert might the one to help Bonnie save Damon and Enzo. Though her comeback has not yet been confirmed by the creators of the show, her appearance in season 7 is a clear sign that everything possible.

The Vampire Diaries Update Nina Dobrev set to Return When The Show Ends

The Vampire Diaries hasn’t seen the last of Elena Gilbert. Although the beloved series will be coming to an end after its eighth season. The Vampire Diaries fans can can rest assured that Nina Dobrev will return for the final season. Yup! You have it Nina in the final season.

If you have remember season 6 Nina just announced her exit from The Vampire Diaries, as a fan we are all heart broken that we will never see Elena Gilbert again. But now that Ian Somerhalder revealed that the show is coming to a close after Season 8 and Kat Graham announced that it will be her last season, it seems Nina might not be gone after all. In fact, we’re getting word that Nina will definitely be back before the show ends. Even though we don’t know yet the exact information on how Nina will be making her return, it sounds like we’ll get to see her in her famous lead role at least one more time. What a silver lining to otherwise heartbreaking news for TVD lovers.

In case you missed it, Ian announced at Walker Stalker Con in Nashville on April 10 that there will only be one season left of TVD once Season 7 finishes. But the CW revealed that their is non final decision about it. And with Kat also declaring her exit after next season, things are looking bleak for the show’s future beyond Season 8 but at least fans can get excited to see Nina once again.

So,Nina will be back in the show but Bonnie also decide to exit in the show. We all know that Elena sacrifice for Bonnie to be alive and vice versa if Elena will alive Bonnie will die. Such a tragic things for this two why can’t they keep this two they literally gives us the friendship goals in our life.

Whatever happens to Bonnie, another question that is sparked from Nina coming back is whether Delena will have a happy ending. So many crazy things can happen. Even though we’re sad to see the show go, the news of Nina’s return certainly makes us excited for Season 8.

Rip Off: The Vampire Diaries season 7 episode 15 “I Would For You”

The drama continues in the recent episode of the vampire diaries season 7 episode 15. Damon and Stefan are profoundly selfish people/non-people. They've been alive for so long it's kind of understandable that they give humans they're not deeply, epically in love with as much regard as strangers passing through. They know the value of the 'duck and cover' approach when things get hairy and, despite caring for those around them, they always know that the only person who truly matters – each other will be around for eternity.

So Damon's decision to desiccate for 60 years rather than hang around and wait for Elena to wake up makes complete character sense, and is matched by Stefan's decision to abandon Caroline and the babies just because she refused to go on the run with him forever. They know that this life as it is now is probably temporary, and they're just going to make the best of it.

Honestly, it's a miracle that this episode works as well as it does, because it had the near-impossible job of tying all the present day storylines up with those we've glimpsed three years in the future. All of those bizarre couplings and all of that dense mythology have to make sense now, otherwise the show's going to have a pretty difficult time keeping its audience on board for the rest of season seven.

And for half the running time, it's a pretty average episode sweeping up the mess from The Armory's introduction. We find out that Rayna only has a limited number of lives, and that if she dies completely she'll take all those with her mark down with her, and we solidify Matt's anger at everyone undead for all the terrible things they've put him through over the years.

I kind of liked that we had an outsider point out how messed up it is that Matt regularly helps out the guy that murdered his sister and turned her into a vampire. But hey, Damon also did the same to Alaric's wife/Elena's birth-mother, and they got over it pretty quickly.

No, as soon as Damon makes his decision, the episode suddenly becomes something great maybe the best it's been this whole season in an emotional sense. My favourite thing about the way it plays out is that it takes its time, re-visiting each and every character Damon has formed a bond with as he avoids the obvious consequences of simply disappearing for multiple decades.

As sad as Stefan's pleas for him to stay are, they've been separated before. The real moments come from Alaric and Bonnie, his drinking buddies and the people who arguably love him the most. But Damon's not used to anyone other than Elena and Stefan caring enough to miss him, and sadly his mind was made up long before Bonnie tracked him down and delivered one of the most heartbreaking monologues in the show's history.

It almost makes you sad we're leaving the present day, because the time jump means that Bonnie and Caroline have been living with their respective betrayals for three full years. Their anger at them makes complete sense now, and I guess the biggest question about the now-present storylines is whether those bridges can be rebuilt. It's delicious drama, and completely overshadows the Rayna stuff.

The real test is how we move forward from here because, as much as we've been preparing for this shift all season, we've still spent a relatively brief time there. But the show is going through a mini-renaissance right now, and that gives me hope that, with the groundwork out of the way, it can continue to build itself back up to the exciting and poignant and devastating show we remember.

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 15 Stefan Getting tired of Damon Attitude

In the next episode of The Vampire Diaries season 7 episode 15 Stefan will try to knock some sense into his suicidal brother Damon. In "I Would for You," the promo reveals that the older Salvatore brother is finally done living a life without Elena and hurting Stefan. He wants to take down Rayna on his own. Afterwards, if he is still alive, he will willingly desiccate himself just so his brother does not need to worry about him anymore.

Ever since Elena went in a deep sleep, Damon has become a shell of his former self. Even though his relationship with Stefan has improved a lot and he has found a good friend in Bonnie, life is incomplete without Elena.

The upcoming episode will see Damon making up his mind to take himself out of the equation so that the people around him can all move on. He believes that he is holding back Stefan from following his own happiness.

Stefan got the scar from Rayna to save Damon and it meant not being with Caroline. He will always have to be on the run to escape the vampire hunter or he is as good as dead. Staying with Caroline means putting her and the babies' lives in danger. Damon knows how much his brother has sacrificed for him and he feels bad about it. In his mind, Stefan will be a lot happier without him.

As expected of the more honorable Salvatore man, Stefan will have none of Damon's plans. He forcefully reminds him that he sacrificed a lot for him. The shot cuts to Caroline and the babies, underlining the fact that if not for Damon, Stefan could live happily with her without fear of being hunted by Rayna.

The talk with Klaus must have also made an impression on Stefan, as he realized his and Damon's relationship looked a tad similar to Klaus' and his brother Elijah's. Will Stefan be able to convince Damon to stop being emotional and bring back his old sarcastic self? "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.

Wrap Up The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 6: Best Served Cold Caroline is Pregnant

Mind.Blown and Surprised. Those are the only words which come to mind immediately following the conclusion of The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 6. That was one intense hour of TVD! Where do we even begin trying to break down everything that just transpired...Oh, right. The beginning.

Caroline and Alaric end up together in the future. I'm sure the flash forward where Alaric and Caroline are engaged has something to do with the final moments of the show where Valerie helped them figure out that Caroline is carrying Jo and Alaric's babies, but you guys, this is huge.

Some fans are going to hate this development all around, and to that I say wait and see. There's still plenty of story left to tell.

Knowing that Caroline and Alaric are together in the future doesn't mean that Stefan and Caroline aren't still end game. They're both still vampires, remember? There's still time for the time line to catch up, Alaric to die tragically trying to save his daughter and fiancee, and Stefan and Caroline to ride off into the Gemini Coven sunset raising the kids they've both always wanted because they're immortal. Right? Right.

I mean, that could totally happen. Yes, yes, Alaric killed Bill Forbes, Caroline's father, but Alaric was Alt-laric when he did that, having been taken over by the forces inside the Gilbert ring after dying and returning to life one too many times. Bygones, you know?

It's sort of weird to think about Caroline and Alaric being together romantically since he's always been a teacher-ish figure to her, but I'm willing to see where this goes. It makes sense that something about the pregnancy might somehow change the dynamic of their relationship.

Now about that surprise pregnancy..

Any time an actor is pregnant in real life, things get weird on screen. There are only so many flowy tops and giant bags and close-up shots one character can handle before it's obvious that something is going on. I'm never opposed to writers choosing to work with a real-world pregnancy and figure out how to fit it into the show because I think it can usually be done and well.

Maybe the character becomes pregnant. Maybe the character becomes a surrogate, much like Caroline's doing now. Either way, I'm totally okay with this. At least it's not a weird retcon where vampires can't get pregnant but something within Stefan and Caroline's DNA makes it possible. It also provided a nice angle for Valerie to be the one to suss out this information for Alaric. She was instantly moved when she learned that Alaric's wife died while pregnant, and from that place came her desire to help this man she just met find out about his family. She does have a heart, and as much as I don't want to, I sort of like her.

Alaric saying goodbye to Jo/Florence goes down as one of the single-most heartbreaking moments in TVD history for me. This man cannot find happiness in love and relationships and it is devastating. Matt Davis wins MVP for those tears tonight.

Now, to change gears entirely, let's jump to that peace party of Lily's.

It's always great to see a party in Mystic Falls, and I'll give Lily some props for trying to create a world where all of her children can peacefully co-exist with humans. She's trying really hard to do the whole "blend in" thing instead of that whole "ripper" thing that got her into so much trouble. Kudos.

She has no control over her family, Julian, her hormones, or herself. And who in that house is compelling randoms to go and sit in a Mystic Falls High School classroom hooked up to an IV? It has to be one of the Heretics, doesn't it? And how is this related to the weird X on Julian's chest and Beau's neck? And on Stefan's chest in the future?

Somebody has to be changing those IV bags, right? So creepy.

Stefan went into the party with one mission: kill Julian. Damon stopped him almost every step of the way and left the party a little beaten up and actually hating the man his mother supposedly loves. Prior to that scene in the kitchen (and learning about Stefan's reasons for hating Julian), Damon only wanted to kill him to get to Lily, which is reason enough considering her hand in Elena's slumber party.

Hearing Julian refer to them both as "son" in the tone of Giuseppe Salvatore? Oh man. It's on.

Julian is not a good man, and coming back from 100 years inside the Phoenix Stone has made him worse. I really want to know what it is he hopes Beau will find in Oscar's car, but what I want more than that is for Lily to learn just what kind of monster he really is.

Aside from Damon deciding to kill Julian on Stefan's timeline instead of his own after learning that his brother could've been a father, the second best thing to come out of the party was Bonnie and Enzo.

Those two are sizzling right now and it. is. wonderful. I never, ever pictured them together before, but now that I've seen the future, I'm all in.

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Cast News: A New Vampire Hunter in Town

The next episode of the hit series The Vampire Diaries is expected to introduce a new character to the season 7. It was reported that actress of the series "NCIS," Leslie-Anne Huff, will be taking on the role of Rayna. Her character is a vampire hunter who will cause many problems for the citizens on Mystic Falls.

Her character was described as smart, fierce, and driven, which means that she will do her best to take down those who get in the way of the goal. However, it was not yet revealed whether she will be on the opposing side.

The announcement of her appearance in the series had fans talking about how the actress looks a lot like Nina Dobrev, who recently left the series. Fans are wondering whether she was added to the series to replace the show's previous lead character.

With that, there are speculations that Rayna will be the romance interest of Damon, played by Ian Somerhalder. Previous reports had teased that it was Bonnie, played by Kat Graham, who will be his love interest. However, the previous episode revealed that Bonnie was going to end up with Enzo, played by Michael Malarkey.

Because of that, there is a possibility that Rayna will enter the story to steal the heart of Damon, who was the love interest of Elena Gilbert, the character played by Dobrev.

Another relationship that the season is expected to explore is between Stefan, played by Paul Wesley, and Caroline, played by Candice Accola-King. The previous episode showed that the couple will break up in a matter of three years. It was teased that the breakup was caused by Stefan's ex-girlfriend, Valerie, played by Elizabeth Blackmore. With that, it can be speculated that the season will show how the end of their relationship came to be.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 airs on The CW every Thursday.

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Spoilers: Will Stefan takes Caroline’s Heart? Stefan Answers

It wouldn’t be The Vampire Diaries if the love stories weren’t complicated. In Season 7, Stefan will be trying to win over Caroline. The younger vampire knows that she and Stefan share the same feelings, but she isn’t quite ready for a relationship after the death of her mother and her subsequent killing spree. It’ll be up to Stefan to prove that they could be in a healthy relationship, but don’t expect too many over-the-top romantic gestures. Elena’s ex is taking the simple approach: he’ll be himself.

“He’s going to be sort of the same loving guy he’s been for the past six seasons,” He’ll be the supportive friend and a shoulder for Caroline to lean on until she is ready for a relationship.

In fact, it seems like Caroline will be the one who has trouble with their lack of a romantic relationship. “Caroline wants to be with Stefan, but she’s also trying to do the right thing by herself, taking the time to mourn her mother’s death so she can enter into this relationship with a clean state and a free mind,” Wesley added. “The heart wants what it wants when it wants it, so we’ll see moments where’s she’s struggling, wanting to say something but not knowing what to say.”

King previously revealed that the state of their relationship might not be exactly what Steroline shippers want. “Fans of the couple shouldn't expect this perfect romance, but what the characters feel for each other is very perfect. “So, if the situations aren't perfect, the intentions are still really good, so that's what they're fighting for through the chaos and the demise of Mystic Falls.”

Caroline and Stefan’s relationship might be fast-tracked if The Vampire Diaries decides to write in King’s real life pregnancy. No announcements have been made about possible vampire babies, “They'd be very quick parents,” “I think with vamp speed, that would definitely help with diaper changes. I don't know if they'd compel a baby not to cry? I don't know if that's cool for vampire parents to do.”

The Vampire Diaries season 7: Lily may turn Damon and Stefan against each other

If you thought Elena going into deep slumber was the biggest twist in The Vampire Diaries, think again. The premiere episode of season 7 which promises to showcase the deadly side of the heretics, who managed to enter Mystic Falls with the help of Kai in the season 6 finale. It is speculated that Damon and Stefan's mother Lily Salvatore, would lead her bloodthirsty "family" on a rampage, destroying the vampire-friendly town and instilling fear among the residents of Mystic Falls.

The Executive producer Caroline Dries gives us the hints about what will gonna happen with the Salvatore. The Salvatore brother mother named Lily will be back and will do some tricks to control his sons.

"What I love about Lily is that I don't think we ever see her lift a finger on the show. She has a way of being manipulating and calculating and she knows how to push her son's buttons".

Dries also teased that the vampire mother's "dirty politics" will turn her sons against each other. However the Salvatore brothers would catch her tricks and stand fight against the heretics and save their town.

"She is a villain in that what she wants opposes what our heroes want, but in her mind all she wants is peace and she would love it if everyone would get along," the executive producers explained about Lily's bad intentions.

Moreover, it will be interesting to see how CW manages to continue with the popular supernatural series in the absence of Elena Gilbert. I’m not sure how they will twists it off since Elena is isn’t in the show anymore.Vampire Diaries season 7 premieres on 8 October on the CW in the US.

Vampire Diaries Season 7 Spoilers Bonnie Will Get A New Love Interest, But It’s Not Damon

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 is going to take another twist. With Elena gone, it seems like the Salvatore brothers could just be paired off with the remaining female cast members. However, it was revealed that Bonnie won’t get together with Damon right away. In fact, she’ll have another love interest.

“I’m feeling like Damon is still madly in love with Elena,” executive producer Caroline Dries. “Bonnie’s going to maybe have her own love interest this year and it’s not going to be Damon.”

Bonnie and Damon will continue to develop their friendship throughout The Vampire Diaries Season 7, and the writers think they work well as just friends. “Don’t mess with a good thing, that’s how we think of it,” Dries said.

So who would Bonnie date if not Damon? With Tyler and Jeremy gone and Stefan taken, her only options are Alaric or Matt. Of course, those are her only choices if she dates a man, but Bonnie might like women too.

Graham made it clear that she would be supportive of a Damon and Bonnie romance, but she also revealed that she’d be okay if Bonnie’s next love interest was a female. “I’ve pitched female witches,” Graham revealed. “I’ve pitched that. I’ve pitched Bonnie having some discoveries, sexually, about herself. I’ve pitched everything. I don’t know. We’ll see what happens.”

This isn’t the first time Graham has chatted about Bonnie’s possible bisexuality. In May, she revealed that she’d like to show a different side of her character. “I’m all about exploring characters’ sexuality and stuff like that,” Graham told Entertainment Weekly. “And I’m hoping that Bonnie, through her new empowerment, will start to discover another side of her as well, maybe something that hasn’t really been a focus on the show.”

While there will be a new lesbian couple added to the show in the fall, neither Nora or Mary Louise will be Bonnie’s love interests. “They’re nasty, nasty, nasty girls, but they’re going to be good,” executive producer Julie Plec said. It seems Bonnie will have to look for love elsewhere.

The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 premieres on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m. EDT on the CW.

The Vampire Diaries: Damon to be Sexy in Season 7

While most of us Vampire Diaries fans are still mourning the loss of Elena Gilbert, Ian Somerhalder has came to the rescue to promise us a season seven that we can really sink our teeth into.

Anyone who likes an eye full of Salvatore six pack should be in for a treat because the 37-year-old actor has promised that we have a "volatile, sexy" season to look forward to.

Somerhalder, who will be going back to playing the dark and impulsive Damon of season one, told People that we will be getting more of the pitch black storylines that made the show such a success, he promised:

"Stuff that we all fell in love with. Season 1 and 2 of the show were so dark. It was awesome." The Vampire Diaries heartthrob also revealed how much he enjoyed spending quality time with his on screen brother, Paul Wesley, watching the episodes of the show back in season one, he explained that:

"I was watching the one where Damon turns Vicki and they're dancing around in their underwear and we turned to each other and said, 'Holy s---, man. This is happening. This is real.' That was an amazing piece of television. I want to get back to that!"

We want to get back to that too, Ian! I just hope that the writing team can pull it all off without the acting prowess of Nina Dobrev.

The Vampire Diaries season 6 Finale Elena will die?

The Vampire Diaries season 6 is coming to an end, and fans will sure be grieving over the exit of their favorite star Elena Gilbert, who will say her final goodbye in the finale episode titled: I'll Wed You in the Golden Summertime.
Until now, fans were of the opinion that Nina Dobrev's character will turn human with Bonnie's cure for vampirism and then may leave Mystic Falls forever.
But the recently released promo of the season 6 final episode of The CW supernatural series narrates a shockingly different story. It is hints at Elena's death!
In the penultimate episode, the fans saw the return of the evil Kai from the prison world, who crashes Alaric and Jo's wedding and in a shocking twist, stabs Elena who is now human.
In the promo, the Gilbert daughter is seen hospitalized in an unconscious state, while the love of her life, Damon appears distraught asking the malevolent witch, "What did you do to my damn girlfriend?"
Caroline, Bonnie and Stefan are also shocked with the entire incident. Later, they all are seen standing near a coffin and Caroline asks everyone to "join hands, close your eyes, and just let her into your thoughts".
This clearly proves that Elena will indeed be killed off on the show.
Meanwhile, the malevolent witch's return, is not good news for Damon and Bonnie, as they are responsible for the trauma he suffered at the hands of the blood hungry vampires in the prison world of 1903.
To know how things unfold in what could be a highly emotional episode, since fans would see the end of the Delena romance, watch The Vampire Diaries season 6 finale which airs on 14 May on The CW Network.
