True Blood Season 7 Episode 8 Finally they Found the Cure

Last week Sookie and Bill recreated their first time together. He’s dying of Hep-V, so Sookie ended up back in his arms and his bed on his floor. Adilyn and Wade were in a too-good-to-be-true situation and Violet was ready to pounce just as the episode ended.

To further complicate things, and keep bringing back old favorites, Jason is trying to deal with Hoyt being back in town and not being remembered. And Arlene is having a non-sexual romantic relationship with a vampire. Never thought we’d see the day.

Eric, Pam and Mr. Gus find Sarah Newlin at the old Light of Day Institute. Pam turns a gun on herself to keep Eric from killing Sarah immediately. “You die, I die.” Watching their loyalty and friendship this season has been such a treat.

Eric drinks from Sarah, and heals. Likely to assuage fans like myself who had problems with Bill’s betrayals earlier in the season, the post-sex scene with Sookie and Bill had her asking about why he didn’t just turn her over to Sophie Anne from the beginning.

Lettie Mae and Lafayette are still digging up the lawn of Lettie Mae’s old house. Reverend Daniels arrives to stop and stop her. James also shows up to give them both blood again, to help them connect with Tara...and Reverend Daniels decides to join the V trip, because that’s just the kind of crazy thing that happens in True Blood Season 7.

The V trip takes them to a flashback to Tara’s childhood when her dad is out to kill her mother for throwing a birthday party for Tara.

Hoyt and Bridget are fighting over future prospects when Jason has to leave the house. Violet is texting pictures of Adilyn and Jessica tied up. Bridget decides she’s going with Jason. As much as he tries to escape old habits, this is just getting ridiculous. He can’t wait, though, and takes off toward Violet’s house in Monroe.

Mr. Gus explains to Pam and Eric that while they successfully synthesized Sarah’s blood, they won’t be going to market for some time. They need to make it less perfect, so that it won’t be a one-time cure. They’re on board because Eric’s healed and they like money. Violet takes Jason down quickly. Her anger is obvious, but her ego almost overwhelms it as she explains her superiority to Helen of Troy and other major historical figures. She binds Jason to a St. Andrew’s cross. The others Jessica, Adilyn and Wade are also bound, mostly in their underwear. Everyone is gagged, so Violet is able to go on monologuing like a Bond villain. She lays out her plans for medieval torture of everyone.

Hoyt to the rescue. He shoots Violet and unbinds Jason. It’s odd that Hoyt seems comfortable with Jason calling him Bubba, as he thinks they don’t know each other. Jessica’s obvious hope at seeing her former lover is quickly followed by disappointment as Bridget enters the room.

In the Tara flashback, we learn that Tara wanted to shoot her father, but couldn’t pull the trigger. She buried his gun in the yard. It’s still there, which makes little sense given how shallow it was buried, but we’ll go with it.

Eric comes to let Sookie know he’s going to be okay. She answers her door in a robe, after leaving Bill in bed. As a firm Eric/Sookie ‘shipper, it’s hard to accept they can’t kiss right in this scene. Instead of throwing her arms around him in joy as I would she tells him Bill has Hep-V. Jason and Jessica have this adorable conversation in his car. Can you have a meet cute after all this time?

Sookie comes to Fangtasia, and is greeted by the Yakuza. We have to give her credit for not backing down. Even if it’s about to make the situation even more complicated for Eric. He plays it off as Sookie being a fangbanger. She manages not to gawk when he talks about fucking her. His “glamour” of her was giggle-inducing for this viewer.

Hoyt can’t get Jessica out of his head. He arrives at Jessica’s house, and brings a bag of his own blood for Bill, because he didn’t want Jessica to have to try to hunt down clean blood for him. Are these two due to be reunited?

Sookie, being stubborn as always, goes back to Fangtasia and breaks in to see what’s in the basement. She discovers a bound and gagged Sarah Newlin. Sookie discovers Sarah is the cure and leaves her in the dungeon. She heads straight back to Bill’s with word about the cure.

Mr. Gus has to leave town and gives Eric a reminder not to do something stupid. He heads to the basement with a plan to bring some of Sarah’s blood to Bill, only to find Sookie in the basement, too, with Bill.

Bill refuses to drink from Sarah. Because he’s an idiot. However, this may open the door for an Eric/Sookie reunion, and that would sincerely please this viewer.Shirtless Hep-V Bill lounges with Sookie in a post-coital cuddle.Shirtless Yakuza members play cards, while viewers enjoy their broad shoulders and Japanese body suit tattoos.

True Blood Recap: The Thirst Is Not Real

Sarah Newlin’s miracle Hep-V cure was rife for the taking on Sunday’s True Blood Season 7. But which infected vamp refused to take a sip?

It wasn’t Eric; he jumped at the chance to suck down Sarah life juice. In fact, he even did a self-congratulatory howl after tossing her aside like a right-wing rag doll. The answer, of course, is the ever-noble Bill Compton, who believes that dying of Hep-V is simply the fate he must endure as punishment for being a creature of darkness or whatever.

A few out-of-nowhere loose ends were also tied up this week, including Bill finally telling Sookie why Queen Sophie-Anne sent him after her in the first place. Apparently his original orders were to find Sookie, determine if she was part fairy, then bring her to Sophie-Anne… who planned to breed her. You see, Sophie-Anne caught wind that Queen Mab intended to bring all fairies and Halflings back to her realm for good, so breeding Sookie would have meant keeping more light-people on our side. As random as it was, this was a surprisingly clever way of explaining some of the series’ weird, lingering plot holes. Plus, it was nice to see Beell and Sookeh getting all Season 1 with each other, even if he was mid-death.

The more Violet lets her freak flag fly, the more I find myself endeared to her I invested nothing in her relationship with Jason so imagine my delight this week, as the madwoman welcomed Jason, Jessica, fairy girl and that other guy to her world of pain. The following is a breakdown of the torture she planned to inflict on each member of the motley crew:

Violet would begin by crushing his skull, small as it may be. Violet had a special contraption for ripping off Adi’s “sweet, barely formed Violet has such a way with words.

Violet was going to rape Jessica every 10 minutes with a red-hot dildo. Fortunately, we’ll never have to hear any of her words ever again, because Indiana Jones Hoyt crashed the party with his plus-one, a wooden bullet aimed right at Crazy Pants’ forehead.

As any true hero should, it looks like Hoyt is also going to get the girl though maybe not the girl we’ve been expecting. After fighting with Bridget about not wanting to have kids, then going to drop off a bag of blood at Chez Compton, it seems like we’re headed for a full-on Hoyt/Jessica reunion before the series finale. Granted, Jessica and Jason also shared a couple-y moment (she said their relationship is the least complicated one in her life), but I’m still betting on Hoyt and Jessica. She’s the love of his life, and if there’s one thing Jason knows how to do, it’s bounce back into bed with someone else; they’ll all be just fine.

More good news: Tara’s freaky, tongue-speaking side plot which, like Tara herself, seemed like it was never going to go away finally reached its conclusion this week, sending her into the afterlife with a clear conscience and an expertly woven side-braid. It turns out Tara had buried a gun in the front yard of her childhood home, a gun she wishes she’d used on her abusive father, thus saving Lettie Mae from a lifetime of alcoholism, demonic possession, insane hair, etc. The two shared a nice little moment, as Tara forgave her mom for being a crazed mess.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 7 Sum Up

The goal of True Blood season 7 episode 7 was to get fated loves Bill and Sookie back together again, and it only took until episode 7, fittingly titled "May Be The Last Time," to make that happen. Yes it is a glorious day and episode for the Bill-Sookie fans out there as the wait is finally come.

After exhausting seemingly every other option including bringing back Dr. Ludwi and Niall Brigant Sookie finally settled for just spending the remaining time Bill has left with him. That, of course, means make out sessions in the doorway and sex on the floor like the good old days.

But is there a future for Bill? At the rate at which the Hep-V is spreading in his body, it seems unlikely that Sarah's blood will be used as a cure for him in time. With Sookie and Bill already back together with three more episodes until the finale, it seems less and less likely that he'll make it out of "True Blood" alive. One thing we'd be happy to see die the true death is these circa-1800s Bill flashbacks. They've been going on for far too long, and taking way too long to get to the point. We can only handle bad Stephen Moyer wigs for so long, and it's crossed the breaking point.

True Blood fell into old habits in this episode by having too many storylines to service and not enough time. While Sookie and Bill's storyline should be at the center of these final episodes, plenty of time was spent on Adilyn and Wade's sexual awakening, Andy and Holly's search for their missing children, Hoyt's return to Bon Temps, Jason's trouble wanting another of Hoyt's girlfriends and Arlene falling for Keith.

The best of these tangential stories was Sarah Newlin's descent into madness as she returned to the Fellowship of the Sun. There she saw fabulously portrayed visions of Jason, her Buddhist guru and even the return of Steve Newlin, who demanded she determine which religion she would align herself with when she dies.

The cliffhanger of May Be The Last Time had Eric, Pam, Mr. Gus and the Yakamoto gang arriving at the Fellowship of the Sun as the three visions promised Sarah that night would be the one she died. The plan is currently to synthesize Sarah's blood and market it as Nu-Blood, the cure for Hep-V, which seems a fitting end for Anna Camp's character.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 6 the Waiting Game

Waiting sucks took on a whole new meaning during Sunday’s True Blood Season 7 episode, as Sookie was forced to sweat out the results of her Hep-V blood test. Is she responsible for inadvertently sentencing Bill to death?

Sadly, the answer is yes; after the midnight assault on Fangtasia, when those H-Vamps exploded all over Sookie, she contracted the Hep-V virus and passed it along to Bill during their feedings. Even though it was obvious her test results would come back positive, it was heartbreaking watching Sookie wait for the news, and even more heartbreaking watching her wrestle with the guilt of finally knowing.

Bill also suffered a wait this week, as he took a number at his lawyer’s office in order to make some last-minute changes to his will. You couldn’t help but feel his pain, especially as his Hep-V began to spread right before his very eyes. And by the time he time he finally saw his lawyer, he was so frustrated by her inability to help, he staked her.

But just when things seemed their bleakest, the fans and a certain Viking vamp were finally given some good news: There’s a cure.

After a troublesome and entirely too long imprisonment by the Yakuza, Eric and Pam were finally released to help them track down Sarah Newlin; and they all got more than they bargained for when her sister Amber answered her door, completely cured of Hep-V. It turns out Sarah has the antidote coursing through her veins, which means she can help save Eric and Bill. But the question is: Will that be enough to keep Eric from slaughtering her?

In an attempt to prove that Lettie Mae’s visions of Tara were merely drug-induced hallucinations, Lafayette agreed to join her on one last V trip and oh, what a trip it was. They both ended up seeing Tara, who hopped down off her cross and led them to her childhood home, where she started digging like a crazy person. Reverend Buzzkill busted in and broke up the fun before LaLa and Crazy Pants discovered why Tara was tearing up the ground, but they’re determined to find out.

Nicole and Sam’s relationship has never been a traditional one, but now it’s looking like they might not even have a future together. Following last week’s sudden outburst cliff-notes version: “Everyone in this damn town is crazy!” Nicole told Sam she wants to leave Bon Temps behind so their family can have a brighter future. But will he agree to leave with her? Time will tell…

In case you weren’t already concerned about Violet’s fragile mental state last week, this Sunday’s episode confirmed it: Jason’s vampire lover is insane, and she’s not OK with the prospect of losing Jason to his ex. Even after she seduced him in skanky lingerie, he still took Jessica’s call and went to her side, forcing Violet to do the only logical thing: bug out and smash all the furniture in Jason’s bedroom.

Less than 24 hours — in show time, at least after Andy proposed to Holly, the engaged couple had its first major blowout when Andy caught Wade and Adilyn doing it in their house. (Apparently not everyone in Bon Temps is allowed to have sex anytime, anywhere.) Not only did Andy’s reaction irk his bride-to-be, but both of their kids ended up running off to Fort Bellefleur.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 5 Lost Cause Preview

Just in case that you thought “True Blood” was not crazy enough already, next week’s new episode may take things to yet another level. Expect more drama, emotion, and violence in “Lost Cause,” even though the title is somewhat ambiguous all the time as the end of this series is yet to come. Is it possible that even more death could be upon us? We’d count on it, given we see there being a very tiny chance that the people alive now are the same ones that are here when the finale arrives. But you can expect at least a few characters to make enormous decisions, just as you can also expect to see a new environment for Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric.

Here is the official synopsis of true bood season 7 episode 5 entitle Lost Cause, Exhausted from her recent travails, Sookie finds herself the unwilling host of a festive mainstreaming party in Bon Temps. In search of an elusive adversary, Eric and Pam head to Dallas and attend a gala fundraiser. Andy makes a life-changing decision; Jessica and James reach a crossroads; Bill loses himself in remembrance of human days.”

By the end of this episode, we are going to have to do with the shocking feeling that there is literally only five episodes left on the entire series. How in the world will this crazy tale end? We imagine a bloodbath, but hopefully there will be some genuine character moments thrown in here at some point, as well. True Blood Season 7 Episode 4 Sum Up

After the shocking death of Alcide in the previous episode of the series . Death? Mourning? Ain’t nobody on Sunday’s True Blood got time for that. Less than 24 hours after losing Alcide, Sookie re-focused her efforts on saving her friends from the H-Vamps and, of course, getting her flirt on. To be fair, Sookie and Jason did place some quick, tear-jerking phone calls to Jackson and Hoyt to inform them of their respective losses. Hoyt’s reaction was particularly heartbreaking, not only because he loved his crazy mama, but because Jason had to pretend like they didn’t know each other.

Then it was “Alcide who?” as Sookie and her rag-tag army of sexy, undead warriors stormed Fangtasia and freed the captives. Honestly, the whole thing was worth it just to see Arlene freak out watching a mouse transform into a full-grown, naked Sam Merlotte.

Rather than exact his revenge on Sarah Newlin, Eric demanded that Pam’s private plane redirect to Bon Temps so he could say goodbye to wait for it Willa, his progeny of five minutes. Not that I’m complaining about Eric returning home, as it triggered the long-awaited Sookie reunion of my Season 4 dreams. And even though we all know it’ll be Bill and Sookie forever and ever, don’t think I didn’t enjoy every precious second of Sookie and Eric’s shared screen time. “You cannot die on me,” she told him, which was preceded by some noteworthy hair-smelling.

I’m not usually a fan of flashbacks especially when we only have seven episodes left to wrap this whole thing up but I loved seeing Fangtasia’s backstory this week. Maybe I’m just nostalgic for video rental stores, or maybe I was craving a dose of Vitamin Ginger, but it was all so perfect. Over the seasons, Fangtasia has almost become its own character, so it’s only fair it gets the same send-off as everyone else.

Nobody died this week not anyone who mattered, anyway but Arlene came pretty close to biting the big one during the attack on Fangtasia. Thankfully, new vampire (and soon-to-be love interest) Keith arrived just in time to heal Bon Temps’ token ginger. And yes, we’ve reached the point in True Blood Season 7 where Bill’s daughter’s boyfriend’s bandmate is becoming an important character.

Jessica still feels guilty for committing faericide, but fortunately, her guilt-induced anorexia finally came to an end this week, thanks to a generous serving of blunt honesty from Sookie. “I don’t give a f—k about your problems,” Sookie told her. Sookie just needed more healthy vampires to help save her friends from Fangtasia, and she didn’t have time for Jessica’s drama.

Speaking of Sookie making herself useful, how cool was it watching her fairie-probe Holly’s memory? If she’d always used her powers this effectively rather than literally try to rid herself of them she could have minimized a lot of her previous problems. And kudos to Lauren Bowles for that whole scene; I’m totally believing her Fangtasia basement-induced PTSD. She deserves a happy ending, that one.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 3 Sum Up Alcide Dies

The cold open was set in Los Angeles, where Sarah is enjoying a yoga lesson. It was far less exciting than last week’s start in which Jason had his fantasy about Eric, but we’ll explain the reason for her appearance in a moment. The true blood season 7 episode 3 “Death is a dark and blinding, whether you see it coming or not.” Sunday’s heartbreaking, game-changing True Blood, which took the life of yet another beloved resident of Bon Temps.

Desperate to save her friends and Sam’s pregnant girlfriend from the basement of Fangtasia, Sookie hatched one of her classic half-baked plans to lure the Hep-V vampires into the open. Bill followed along, mostly to take part in the maiming, but also to spend time with his ex, who’s apparently been having massive doubts about her love for Alcide. “Maybe you’ll grow to love him more,” Bill said, a sentence not even he believed.

Now here’s the craziest part: Sookie’s plan actually kind of worked! Then, without warning, a bullet pelted Alcide in the forehead, sending his giant naked body tumbling to the ground. Given the opportunity to bring him back as a vampire, Sookie declined, sealing Alcide’s fate forever.

Eric spent the entire hour reflecting on Sylvie, a delightful French gal he used to bang back in the late ’80s. It was right around the introduction of Tru Blood, and Eric’s refusal to go along with the Authority’s plan cost him the life of his sweet, sweet Sylvie. He was actually forced to choose between saving Sylvie or Pam, and I’ll give you one guess which choice he made.

Sarah Newlin is back again in the show. She appears to have left her mad days behind her in favor of a deep-breathing, self-reflective lifestyle, but come on, do you really buy that? Either way, yoga won’t save her once Pam and Eric come calling, just as it didn’t save her guru lover.

Fresh out of his shower last episode, Alcide finds that Sookie has run over to Bill’s house. “I know she came here, I can fucking smell her,” Alcide yells at Mr. Compton’s door, but they’re already gone. In the car, Bill asks Sookie to take his blood in order to help her. He gets a little too much pleasure from her sucking, so she reminds him that she’s got a boyfriend.

Sookie sets herself up as “vampire bait” for the H-Vamps and reminds Bill of the time he described her as such. She confesses that she really loves Alcide, but “I’m afraid that I don’t love him as much as he loves me.” Sookie grows impatient waiting for the vampires, in part because her smell should be drawing them to her. Bill hits on her by complementing her smell. In a flashback, Bill takes a family photo before he heads off to war.

The H-Vamps finally show up with Holly, but it doesn’t go as planned. They attack Bill, but Alcide, Jason, Andy, and others kill them quickly. Alcide yells at Bill for listening to Sookie, and shockingly Alcide gets shot and killed by Lou, someone on Vince’s side. Sookie decides not to turn him into a vampire because she’s “been down that road before.”

We were surprised that Alcide was killed off, but these are the types of sacrifices that we can expect during a final season because the show runners don’t have to worry about these characters in the future. We suppose this means that Sookie will now seriously consider getting back with Bill, a pairing that fans have been hoping would come true before the story ends.

True Blood Season 7 The Final Season

Hey! True blood lovers I know some of the fans are just a little bit disappointed in the finale of the last season but this time finally the true blood fans will see a little bit teaser for the true blood season 7 the final season of the show will start this coming summer Jun 22, 2014.

It's the moment we've all been waiting for… besides the premiere itself, of course. Not only did HBO tell us the True Blood Season 7 premiere date today, but they released a teaser trailer to go with it.

So when will we finally find out whether or not Eric Northman is dead? Season 7 premieres on Sunday, June 22 at 9 p.m. EDT on HBO.Seriously is he really dead as i have seen in the finale of the last season he is smoking hot naked in the ice and burning. please don't kill him! As the fans know, this season will be the series' last, which is alluded to in HBO's tongue-in-cheek "Graveyard Tease."



HBO will also air the teaser right before the big Game of Thrones premiere, this Sunday, April 6, at 9 p.m. You were going to watch it anyway, right?

This final season begins with "Jesus Gonna Be Here," an episode directed by Bill Compton himself, Stephen Moyer. Stephen, who's married to co-star Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse), also directed two previous episodes: Season 5's "Somebody That I Used to Know" and the Season 6 premiere, "Who Are You, Really?"
