While infiltrating a mental institution in Night of the Hawk, Sara discovered that Savage was a doctor in Oregon using the name Dr. Curtis Knox. During the investigation of a murder seemingly tied to Savage, Ray and Kendra posed as a married couple and discovered that Savage lived in a small suburban area.
Routh talked about the Legends of Tomorrow character he plays. He told the publication that there is “a certain set of circumstances that have to be put in play in order for him to actually die so he’s immortal with an asterisk.”
Routh believes that there is a little bit of Superman in every superhero like his “Legends of Tomorrow” character. He explained that Ray is not clumsy but he is very energetic and very excited and very passionate about what he does.
As Routh noted, Ray has pure passion about his technology, saving people and creating a suit. He said that this is what makes the character come off a little goofy.
In the next episode of Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 9 entitled “Left Behind”, Ray, Sara and Kendra are shocked after they watch the Waverider fly off without them, leaving them stranded in the '50s. After waiting months for their teammates to come back, the three realize they must move on with their lives. Ray and Kendra bond as a couple but Sara decides to return to the League of Assassins and Ra's al Ghul.
Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 episode 9 titled Left Behind” will air on March 31. It is written by Beth Schwartz and Grainne Godfree and directed by John F. Showalter.
