As an avid fan of Elsa in the hit maker movie I am also super excited that Once upon a time season 4 finally twist off the series and brings Elsa in the series. ABC's fantastical hit, Once Upon A Time, has finally cast it's biggest addition to season 4 thus far, Queen Elsa of Arendelle. Fringe alum, Georgina Haig, will play Once's next perfect addition, Elsa. This fresh scoop comes in at the heels of my previously spolied casting of newcomer Elizabeth Lail to play Anna and Greek alum Scott Michael Foster to play Kristoff. Here's how Co-creator's Adam Horowitx and Edward Kitsis plan on showcasing Elsa in season 4.
We are very well aware of how beloved is, so we’re very careful that we want to tell a story that is uniquely ours but also honors those characters that everyone fell in love with this past year, Eddy Kitsis teases: The thing we love about Elsa is she is perceived to be a villain but is clearly misunderstood, and that goes to the heart of our show.
Elsa has long struggled to control her “chilling” powers, and once even unleashed upon her town an eternal winter. Ultimately, she realized that the key to keeping her powers in check is love namely, her bond with younger sister Anna and now she is aware of the threat she poses if she were to lose control of her magic again.
