With Season 2 of the hit Starz series set to premiere in the US on April 9, more and more pictures from the show are starting to be unveiled. More and more teasers are being given to fans as Outlander's big return approaches.

With Season 2 of the hit Starz series set to premiere in the US on April 9 -and one day later for those in the UK more pictures from the show are starting to be unveiled.

The key art for Season 2 was released last week, teasing new friends and foes for Jamie and Claire in Paris, while new portraits provided a first look at the new characters in the show .

Members of the Outlander cast and crew have been discussing the work that has gone into creating the new costumes. Show costume designer Terry Dresbach went into detail about the "monumental task" involved - while it was revealed 6,500 hangers were used for season two .

Terry revealed how "completely different" the clothing will be in the new series and the lengths the team went to recreate the fashion of 18th century France.

And it arrives just weeks after the spectacular Vive les Frasers official trailer, which sent fans' excitement levels through the roof.

Outlander Season 2, which is based on Diana Gabaldon 's second novel Dragonfly in Amber, will see Jamie and Claire head to France in an attempt to stop the Jacobite rebellion and the Battle of Culloden, by seeking out Bonnie Prince Charlie.
