Arrow Season Spoilers: Season 5 First Look

The show that really started it all for the CW will be back for at least one more season. The CW revealed plans for Arrow season 5 back in March, and the first information is starting to make its way out there. This article is your one-stop location for everything you need to know about Arrow season 5.

Here's the Arrow Season 5 trailer, revealing a team of new vigilantes, and our first look at one of the villains.

Arrow Season 5 officially kicked off production on the first episode, which is called "Legacy" on July 6th. It boasts a story by Greg Berlanti, a script by Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle (so that's all three of the showrunners accounted for), and it will be directed by James Bamford.

Mr. Bamford is also the stunt coordinator on Arrow, and helped give the show its action-identity. This is the episode that Stephen Amell is teasing will have one of the most punishing single take action sequences in TV history. Get ready! Arrow Season 5 will premiere on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 at 8 pm.

Arrow Season 5 Spoilers: Writer Director Kevin Smith Suggests Interesting Character

The past two seasons of Arrow came as a disappointment for most fans because of the significant dip in quality of the series. Arrow Season 5 certainly has a lot of weight on its shoulders since it is the show's last chance to regain the viewers it has lost over the previous years, and hopefully, the story will be compelling enough to earn another season renewal in the future.

Marc Guggenheim recently posted a photo on his Twitter profile, revealing that production has already begun and the title for the season premiere will be "Legacy." The title does not give any clue away, which means it's up to the fans to theorize what the masked vigilante's first order of business will be when the series returns this Fall.

Writer/director Kevin Smith recently caught up with Den of Geek where he shared an idea he has about an interesting villain who should be in the series: Onomatopeia. Smith once worked on a Green Arrow comic book back in 2002 and he created Onomatopeia with artist Phil Hester during his stint. He will be directing episodes for the upcoming season of The Flash and even if there is a small chance of Onomatopeia being adapted in Arrow, Smith still wants to see the character come to life in any of the superhero shows in The CW.

"Still haven't heard anything back from Arrow," he said. "You know, I wish, it would be amazing because I would love to write and direct Onomatopoeia in the show. Um, but I know they're doing – what is it? – Wild Dog this year, as well as Vigilante, so maybe they're just like 'we don't need you', or whatever. But, at the moment, anyone over there raises a flag; I'm like 'please, let me in!' That'd be fun as f---."

Newcomers to the show include Chadwick Coleman from "The Walking Dead" as the main antagonist Tobias Church, Rick Gonzales who portrays Wild Dog, Josh Segarra as Vigilante and Madison McLaughlin who returns to play the role of Evelyn Sharp (a.k.a. Artemis).

Arrow Season 5 Everything in the Table at The Moment

Just a few months to go and one of the CW show is back in television set somehow we have got all the things at the moment for what are the updates of the current show. Production on Arrow Season 5 is already underway, and considering the big team shakeup in Season 4 a lot of change is coming to Star City. From new vigilantes to new villains to new costumes, Arrow promises viewers something of an overhaul when Season 5 rolls around, and CBR has broken down everything we know so far to prepare you for Oliver Queen's bold new world.

Vicious, Violent" Season Opener is definitely what we will see in the season premiere of the show. Production on "Arrow" Season 5 has already begun, and Amell took to Facebook to promise that the show will be bloodier than ever. According to the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" star, the premiere episode titled "Legacy" has the opportunity for us to have the most vicious, violent one-shot in the history of network television." And by "one-shot," Amell means a continuous take fight scene like "Daredevil's" infamous hallway and stairwell scenes, or Daisy's one-take battle in the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." episode "Spacetime."

"If [the premiere] is any indication, 'Arrow' is going to be f---ing mean this year," he added, "and that's really exciting." Amell later clarified, he doesn't mean "evil" -- just plain mean.

Fans Talks About Oliver’s Love Life in Arrow Season 5

Lets take a break for the action at the moment and we will talking more about the love interest of our very own arrow Oliver Queen. Oliver's love life has gone through a lot of changes over the years on Arrow. He spent the first season and a half or so bedding just about every age-appropriate woman on the show, but it wasn't until he openly set his sights on Felicity, however, that we really saw how much he changed. The big scary vigilante was monogamous to a relationship that wasn't even there in Season 3, and he was ready to propose by the Season 4 premiere. Some fans were most vocally not thrilled by the big Olicity-centric romantic twists of Seasons 3 and 4, and unfortunately for them, Season 5 may offer up more of the same.

Diggle actor David Ramsay dropped a possible spoiler that could mean Oliver won't be setting his heart or eyes on somebody new any time soon.

David Ramsay's reveal at the Heroes and Villains FanFest in New Jersey, shouldn't make a certain faction of fans very happy. Seasons 3 and 4 were the first time that Oliver's attentions in the present were set on one woman for a prolonged period of time, and some fans just didn't like that Olicity was getting so much attention compared to Oliver's past dalliances. There were arrows to be shot and bad guys to be thwarted and comic canons to be honored. Arrow is not and has never been a romance.

It's not hard to see why Oliver's topsy-turvy love life in Season 4 could have been a drag for many viewers. His relationship with Felicity started out the season pretty low-key most of the time, but the show went too far in amping up the melodrama to break them up. The storyline with Oliver's secret kid seemed mostly in service of ending Olicity, and that arc was pretty damaging to Oliver's character in general. The show just wasn't all that good during the melodramatic straits of Season 4, and some of that had to do with how Arrow was handling the main character's romance.

Star Stephen Amell had an amended version of things to tell the crowd, saying that Oliver and Felicity can have a meaningful relationship without being romantically involved, and that they're in a great place right now. But then he went on to make this hard-to-misconstrue claim.

Of course, this is all great news for the Arrow viewers who have fallen for Olicity. Oliver/Felicity is a surprisingly sweet romance that really feels like it was never supposed to happen, especially considering the comics on which Arrow has been loosely based. The Green Arrow's traditional comic love interest has been the Black Canary, while Felicity Smoak's traditional comics role has been as Firestorm's stepmom who happened to be good with computers. Emily Bett Rickards was brought on to play an Easter egg character, but a few seasons later, she became Oliver's lady love.

It's been an unexpected progression that Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards have worked to sell over the years even when the writing has thrown third-party love interests and a surprise illegitimate child in their path. Season 4 clearly didn't end with Oliver being emotionally over Felicity, so it's really not all that much of a surprise that the moony Mr. Monogamy might want to get back together with her.

Only time will tell if, when, how, and why Oliver and Felicity might get back together as David Ramsay has said, although we can bet that the debate among fans will go on and on until the show cements things. We don't know too much about the plot of the present in Season 5, so anything is really possible at this point. Who knows? Maybe Felicity will take one look at Oliver's new Arrow suit and remember a few of the reasons why she fell for him in the first place.

Arrow Season 5 Diggle to get an Up Do Helmet

We seen this man in the side of our favorite character in the show Oliver Queen aka Arrow and part of the team to take on the peace in the Star City. Finally in the upcoming arrow season 5 he got a new look. It took four seasons for Green Arrow's right-hand man to realize that he should probably wear a disguise while fighting dangerous criminals and deranged mystics in the slums of Star City.

Fan outcry for Diggle to don a disguise and protect his family and colleagues was finally mitigated in season four of The CW's Arrow. However, picky fans were not happy with the execution, instantly zeroing in on Spartan's head attire and its close resemblance to the helmet worn by a certain X-Men villain. It seems David Ramsey thought the design should be a little different as well, as he touted a new look that would be constructed by S.T.A.R. Labs' wisecracking superhero-in-the-making, Cisco Ramon. Well, despite making a trip to Central City last season to help A.R.G.U.S. trackdown King Shark, Diggle never received his costume upgrade.

At Heroes & Villains Fan Fest 2016 this past weekend, Ramsey reportedly stated that Diggle will finally recieve his new duds in season 5.

Arrow Season 5 Starts Production and Episode Premiere Title Revealed

With all the spoilers that are coming out online still we can’t get over with what is coming next in Arrow season 5. Just a few months to go and the season premiere is coming. Arrow executive itself Marc Guggenheim takes the social media twitter to announced that the show is finally starting their production and revealed season 5 premiere episode title “ Legacy”.

Now that work is officially underway, the speculation train can really start moving forward. Legacy could be meant in a variety of ways. It could be in regards to the team as it was pretty much in shambles at the end of season four. It could be in reference to Laurel and her father, Detective Lance and what he plans to do from here on out, or it could be something else or another character entirely.

Arrow fans are also keen on trying to figure out the status of Oliver and Felicity's relationship.That was spurred on recently when Arrow actor David Ramsey teased the couple's reunion when he said: "We can expect death, mayhem, and Oliver and Felicity getting back together!"

Arrow Season Season 5 WWE Alum Cody “Stardust” Rhodes to Guest

For anyone that are following Arrow Season 5 before its season premiere the show have the bunch of new casts to watch out for. While the fan response to Arrow season 4 was mixed at best, series star Stephen Amell still got to do something he’s always wanted to do in 2015: make his professional wrestling debut. Amell, a long-time fan of the scripted sport began a war of words of with villainous WWE wrestler Stardust (a.k.a. Cody Rhodes, son of late wrestling legend “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes) on social media, and things picked up when the two got physical during an episode of popular wrestling program Monday Night Raw last summer. Amell and Stardust finally collided in an official match at August’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event, with Amell teaming up with high-flying good guy Neville to defeat Stardust and fellow villain Wade “King” Barrett.

With Amell’s good showing inside the ring and the positive fan response he garnered many naturally assumed that the man behind Oliver Queen would return to continue his feud with Stardust at some point in the future. Unfortunately, that possibility evaporated when Stardust’s portrayer Cody Rhodes grew disgruntled with WWE, and left the company earlier this year. Rhodes currently plies his trade on the independent wrestling scene, although obviously not as the Stardust character, which WWE owns the rights to.

Well, Amell apparently isn’t willing to give up on the idea of a rematch that easily. During a joint convention appearance, he and Rhodes both confirmed that the latter is set to guest star during Arrow season 5. Rhodes will appear during episode 3 of season 5, although full details of what role he’ll play or how his character will figure into the plot weren’t revealed. As one might imagine though, Rhodes is probably gonna be playing a supervillain of some sort, with the wrestler turned actor “You can probably expect Stephen and I to get into another fight.”

While it’s a pity that Rhodes’ Stardust character won’t literally be able to crossover his real life fight with Amell into DC’s small-screen world, it’ll be interesting to see what Arrow foe he ends up playing. Of course, there’s also a chance that Arrow’s writers have Rhodes play an original character, created just for the episode he appears in. After all, unless Rhodes plans to become a semi-regular guest on Arrow, it probably wouldn’t make much sense to assign him to a well-known villain in the Green Arrow comic pantheon.

Arrow Season 3 Spoiler 0liver Queen was Touch By His Soft Side

For all the fans of Arrow it is be coming soon and I know everyone is excited for the upcoming season premiere of the series. Looks like Oliver will be getting in touch with his soft side for Arrow season 3, according to spoilers by executive producer Greg Berlanti.

None of us like to throw stuff out there and then not deal with it in some way. It doesn't mean it occupies the story and that's all we deal with, but you want to be fair to the audience,"

Olicity is something that we've been working toward and building toward since she first showed up on the show, he says. "We deal with it head-on in the premiere, but there aren't a lot of superheroes who are married. It's more that we're dealing with the finale than we are with them."

There's more of that humor throughout," Berlanti says of Oliver's change in demeanor in the new episodes. "He doesn't have Slade hunting him anymore. Things are in a happy place for everybody."

"There are some great twists and turns in terms of what their dynamic is." Ra's is looming in the background at the start of the season. "We try with the big bads to make every season feel different and for them to be reflective of what we want to put the hero through and characters through."

A lot of secrets with Thea, says Berlanti, You'll see more of that," Berlanti promised, on those training scenes of Thea in the trailer, along with time with father Malcolm It's a great twosome to watch onscreen. As for wether Thea will become Speedy..

"She went away to become someone else. The question is, did she?" It seems Thea in season 3 are a lot of things that we might need tp configure in what things might happen to Thea.

Arrow Season 3 Update New Love Interest For Thea

It looks like Oliver and Felicity won't be the only new couple getting a shot in Arrow season 3, as Austin Butler has been announced as joining the show as a love interest for Thea Queen.

Butler will be playing an as-yet-unnamed DJ who catches Thea's eye, and "their professional relationship will quickly blossom into romance". He's definitely got the right look for a charismatic club but how will this impact the rest of the show? At the end of season two, Thea was seen leaving the city with her biological father, Malcolm Merlyn, and this has been the source of endless speculation as to what will happen when she returns. With this news we now know a couple of the elements of her return, and this actually leads me to more possibilities, rather than less.

The club has passed through a few different hands so far - from Oliver and Tommy to Oliver alone, and then to Thea who ran the hot spot in season two. If Thea will be romantically entangled with a club DJ, does this mean that she will be returning to the business? If so, how is this going to affect her relationship with Oliver? One of the reasons that she left was that she felt betrayed by him, and to an extent, she probably blames him for what happened between her and Roy. So how will that pan out with her coming back to Verdant which is still kind of his? (I'm not sure where the legality lies on this one; he owned it, but then gave it up to her - we didn't see that happen legally, so does he still own the building, but not the business? How was that affected by his bankruptcy?) Will she be re-starting the club, or could it be possible that with her "new" father's money, she uses her experience to start a completely new club of her own?

Obviously, Thea's return to Starling City will have a huge impact on Roy. As far as he was aware at the end of season two, the couple was going to run away together, but he came home to an empty house after Thea discovered his arrows. Has he been looking for her for the past seven months, or has Oliver persuaded him to let her go? When she returns, there is bound to be some confrontation between them, and Roy has never been particularly good at controlling his temper. If Oliver hasn't hasn't trained him restraint, I could easily see him coming to blows with a new love interest of hers.

Arrow Season 3 Update Oliver and Felicity Get Intimate

Most of the arrow fans are getting excited in the upcoming season 3 premiere of the series so am I also getting excited for the season 3 of the series. Meanwhile we like the big actions happening in the show but somehow we are a little bit con fuse and getting excited for the love life of arrow. Yes we know that a lot of girls are chasing into the star of the show but who is really the best girl for her Laurel, Sarah or Felicity. In Arrow season 3 more fans are getting excited into the love life of Oliver as you can see in the newly released season 3 trailer Oliver and Felicity are almost kissed. Is it true that the Olicity is happening in the upcoming season? Hurray Olicity fans!

Executive producer Greg Berlanti reassured that producers "weren't trying to fake anybody out with Oliver's confession to her at the end of last year, so we'll deal with that directly this year," while Stephen Amell hinted that their date goes "horribly." There are also glimpses of a new Thea under the guise of her father, Malcolm, and some major knock-down, drag-out fights.

As executive producer Marc Guggenheim told The Hollywood Reporter, season three follows the theme of identity. "It's the first season where this theme of identity is not only about Oliver but is also about all the other characters," he said.
